I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lee and Team. They were extremely attentive and patient and were able to accommodate for my schedule as I was visiting Korea for a few weeks. I already had natural double eyelids but my goal was to even out my double eyelids and slightly increase the size. Dr. Lee evaluated my face and cheekbones and recommended one eyelid be slightly larger to look more even throughout. I am very happy with the healing and the result. I also went to unlimited red/blue light therapy for 40 minutes daily for 2 weeks. This light therapy was to help bring down the swelling and bruising
If you’re Asian and thinking of having double eyelid surgery you have to go to someone who specializes in Asian eyelid surgery. I went to a well known upper/lower eyelid surgeon in Beverly Hills with great reviews and had terrible results. After researching for years I went to TS in Korea for revision. Being a revision I’ve taken longer to heal. After three months I’m still swollen and the eyelids are slightly uneven, but I’m glad I went to TS. Of the 4 consults I had, Dr Choi’s recommendation to fix the line but not remove skin was the safest approach. This being my 5th surgery I can say his technique and precision are next level. He’s quite serious and I do wish I was able to communicate with him in English but my coordinator/translator Sarah was amazing. I was intimidated as a foreigner but she was incredibly available to me, stayed in contact everyday prior/after surgery, and was with me every minute on surgery day. The attention to detail is better than anything I’ve experienced in Beverly Hills. TS gave me an allergy test prior to surgery, they had all my meds ready so I didn’t have to go to a pharmacy and everyday after surgery I went in for recovery treatments (light therapy and face massage) to reduce swelling. They even asked if anyone in my family wanted to watch the surgery on an iPad as it was happening so they could ensure I was safe and the surgery was going well. TS was more expensive than other places in Korea but Dr Choi is sought after for revision surgery. Plus, skin treatments/surgery is less expensive than in the states and it basically pays for your airfare. Updated on 17 Jul 2023: Dr Lee Sang Kyun was my surgeon at TS. Error in the last review. Definitely add him to your list to consult with if you're seeking surgery in Korea. I met many other patients from the states there and we were all so glad we decided to go with him.
Hello! Based on the following pictures, you have a little bit of droopy eyes, which makes your eyes look sleepy. To have the tired look of your eyes to become improved, it would be best to have a canthoplasty. For the cheek, it is kind of hard to tell because it is covered and would need a full face picture. Of course, "in-person" consultation would be the most accurate analysis that could be given.Hope it helped :)
Hi! First of all, you have beautiful eyes ~It would be best for you to do an upper eyelid fat repositioning to have the fat evened out! Also, you will need a little bit of fat graft on your eyes as well :)In summary :- Double Eyelid Surgery- Upper Eyelid Fat Repositioning- Fat graft on the eye (if needed)
