I am sorry to hear about your experience- though rare- this is an unwanted risk of botox. But the good news is that it will wear off and should be back to normal in a few weeks to months. I would not inject the forehead as that will only worsen the problem since the forehead muscles lift the eyebrows and will try to compensate for the lid lag. The drops are prescription and may give you a few mm of lifting if it is in fact your eyelid muscles and not the eyebrow that was affected- but I would see a provider to determine if they are safe for you and worth trying. Hang in there- it will get better!
Botox cost depends on the strength of the muscles, the anatomic location, and also the physical location of the practice you are being treated at, as well as the expertise of the injector.I would be very wary of heavily discounted botox as you are paying for the product but also the injectors' expertise.Generally around the eyes is about 5-10 units per eye, can be more or less depending on the baseline wrinkling and strength of muscles. Average cost is 15-25$/unit in NYC. Some offices charge a flat fee but touchups are then included and not an extra cost at follow up.
Juvederm is easy to dissolve with Hyaluronidase (vitrase or hylenex are brand names). I would call the office to discuss this issue with your physician. They likely do have hyaluronidase or can order it for you. Rest assured it will dissolve on its own in a few months!
