I definitely needed eye lid and eye bag surgery but not wanting to go under the knife. I found and amazing Dr here in AZ who does CO 2 laser facelifts. I had upper/ lower eyes, fullface, neck and chest done. Surprisingly, I am not in much pain at all. A bit of discomfort but is manangable. I can't wait to show everyone my results. I hope it was worth the $$$ I spent. Is just under 5,000.00 . I just don't want to be disappointed. I will update my stages of recovery. Updated on 19 May 2019: I forgot to post my before pic. I am on day 3 and the swelling is awful. Let me tell you the pain is really bad now. Trying to manange with prednisone and ibuprofen combination.my eyes we're swollen shut for about a day. This is not a treatment for the faint of heart. Updated on 20 May 2019: Day 3-4 post op. Not pretty! My eyes swelled completely shut for about 24 hours. Very scary.... Swelling is finally going down and I am off the oxy for pain. Only need ibuprofen for swelling and mild discomfort. Hope I start peeling in the next couple days. I am being very positive due to the fact I look like a monster and feel like the healing can't come fast enough! I went in for a wash and care instructions from MD today. Updated on 21 May 2019: Not much going on yet. No pain at all , just feels really tight. I think I am starting to peel a bit. I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. May wait a few days to post another update since not much change. Updated on 22 May 2019: OMG! I have eyelids again! Undereye bags gone! What the heck!!!!!! I am almost done peeling too. Has been a very speedy recovery for me. I was hoping for a bit more lift around jowles. Apparently the lifting effect from laser can take up to 3 months for results. I still have a lot of healing to do. My eyes have not peeled all the way yet, a few spots here and there around the face to go. I am so very happy so far. I can't wait to wear eyeshadow again without worrying about my wrinkly sagging eyelids. So far so GREAT! Updated on 24 May 2019: Dr. Brown is amazing! He did CO2 Max laser on upper/ lower eyelids, full face, neck and chest. I am only a week out post op, but I have eyelids again and eye bags are gone! The before and after care by Susan Brown was wonderful! I am so very happy With the results so far. AMAZING, AMAZING, staff as well! Updated on 25 May 2019: I used mascara and brow power today.No eyeliner yet since my lids are still crusted over a bit. I am using Lycolgel post laser foundation which helps with healing. A few tender spots on nose and forehead. So far so good! Updated on 4 Jun 2019: My skin seems to be tightinging up a bit. Seems more plump. Redness almost gone. Still using Lycolgel breathable cover-up. Am still peeling a bit, so using exfoliating scrub every night. I made a homemade scrub with baking soda and coconut oil which is a little more gentle than the ZO microderm scrub that I have. Started using my vitamin C serum and lots of moisturizer 2 times a day again. Updated on 4 Aug 2019: It has been almost 3 months post op. No changes so far. Have a bit of hollowness under eyes where my eye bags used to be. I will take the hollow over bags any day! Had a few units of Botox to my forehead for the lines that never went away. Very happy with my decision.

I've never had defined abs but now that I did the procedure, I have definition!!! So good. Susan and Jamie at Sensational Skin were great!!! They made a whole afternoon out of it and let me catch up on mu Netflix! It was painless and other than being a little sore for a couple of days, no real downtime. Just as promised. I would recommend to anyone wanting some definition.
Pros - it works!!!!! Cons - none, it works!!!! Procedure was a piece of cake! I watched netflix the whole time. Massage at end was uncomfortable, but doc said better results with massage. Love Sensational Skin! I would suggest this procedure to anyone that is interested in getting rid of their fat.
Very good question! When I treat a thin skin patient my technique is different then when treating thick skin. Profound is safe for thin faces and very effective and at adding youthful volume to the face. Thin skin patient's usually notice volume loss early and thick skin notices more laxity. I have been equally impressed with results on all skin types. I have not seen volume or fat loss with profound but actually volume improvement.
Co2 and Profound are both very effective procedures. When I perform both procedures the transformation is more complete because with the co2 I can treat the eye area for full transformation. Profound is very effective at tightening neck area and face. Doing both procedures gives the patient a wonderful outcome. During consultation, I will recommend how best to obtain your desired results. Sometimes, I will treat the eyes with co2 and profound lift on the face and neck.
