In general, some facelifts, mainly limited minilifts, can be done with local anesthesia, sometimes with sedation. The most important aspect is safety! Where will the surgery be done? What backup is available should there be a problem? Be sure that you are cleared medically before the procedure to reduce the risks of complications.
