Fraxel - so far, so good

I just had Fraxel on my face and hands last Friday (it’s now Wednesday). My face has stopped shedding and I can see noticeable improvement. The freckles and brown spots on my face are significantly lighter and some spots are gone entirely. I will probably need one or even two more treatments to get the perfectly clear skin I desire but even after only one treatment I’m much happier with my skin. The hands are way behind in the healing process. After searching this and other sites, I believe this is normal. I just wanted to post about my good experience since it seems posting on this stuff is primarily done by people who have had bad experiences (not surprisingly). The best device I can give is to go to a doc you really trust. I’ve been seeing my dermatologist for over a decade and know she is conservative in her approach to cosmetic procedures.
