Ok - first off I am a fairly active 36yr old male who due to life (work, children etc) haven't been to the gym or playing sports as much as I'd like to. Right now I'm playing ball (softball/basketball) two nights week. I try to do something another day whether it's a quick run or just playing with the kids.
I have decided to give coolsculpting a shot although I am VERY SKEPTICAL and was hessative for a while now because of the 50-50 results everyone keeps posting about and honestly - if I'm going to spend the $$$ I might as well do it the right way and get some kind of surgery. However, rather than be down and out of work etc I figured I'd test this out 1) For myself. 2) If I like the results I would tell my wife who may want be interested because I know she is self conscious about her CSection area. So I made myself the guinea pig.
Another thing is I chose to go to a center in Ft Lauderdale who is #4 in the country for the amount of procedures they have done compared to literally right down the block from my house because they just started doing it and I don't want to be their guinea pig while they figure it out. Because I am testing it out I did the procedure "on the sneak" to see if in two months time my wife even notices any difference then I can tell her and maybe get her excited if she even wants to do it.
An important thing to know prior is if u you decide to do the LOWER ABDOMINAL AREA below the belly button you will PROBABLY need two sessions. I'm 6'3" - 225 so I don't have a huge belly but it's big enough and I definitely need two sessions so that $1800.00 I listed above will definitely be adding another $900 for the second session for my lower.
I have to say although it's only been 3 hours since I finished and maybe I'm still numb - so far I'm good. DURING the procedure for upper and lower abdomen (upper 2 hours just pad, lower 1 hour with suction) I think I felt slight discomfort from the cold for the first 6-8mins, 10 minutes tops and that was it. I figured even now although it's early I'd be doubled over in pain and was concerned about missing work tomorrow and blowing my cover being I did it on the sneak. As of now - I feel so good I'm going to play basketball at 7pm.
They took pictures in the office and I should have taken one to post on here but I did take some only after the suction part to show you how crazy it looks when the fat on your stomach is frozen solid. And trust me it looks painful but totally was not. I'll keep you all posted - feel free to ask any questions and I'll eventually post before pics and update you about the looks and also any uncomfortable feelings. As of now - I originally cleared my schedule tonight and planned on sleeping in extreme pain - but I am playing basketball at 7pm!

Just letting everyone know....two days in and NO PAIN which is huge obviously. I'm still little swollen in the lower abdomen from the auction. Upper abdomen hardly anything at all maybe feels SLIGHTLY sore like I did a few sit ups. Lower abdomen sore like a did a bunch of sit-ups but that's it.

Ok for the most part I haven't really had PAIN but I will say that the most uncomfortable "pain" days were days 5 and 6 afterwards. That's when it felt more of a burner type feeling but nonetheless not a major deal considering I never once was not able to work, play ball etc. Felt swollen as hell up until today when it finally is starting to feel more normal. Physically no appearance changes yet but it's only 8 days and every day the pain feeling goes down and down. I expect in a few more days it will be totally gone.
