I have done 2 sessions of Sculptra. The first one, I did not do any pre-injection prep to minimize bruising. Two days later, it looked like I had allergies, very red circles on my eyes. Was able to cover with make up. For the 2nd treatment, I read up and this is what I did to minimize the bruising. The day before, I took 1200 mg of Vitamin C, and Arnica Montana the pm before the treatment. The day of the treatment, I again took the 1200 mg of Vitamin C, and took the Arnica Montana, 3x a day, and applied Vitamin K cream to the face when I was massaging it. Day after treatment, same thing. I am still using the Vitamin K cream for the massaging. This treatment has many more injection sites, and it is still sore, but I did not have ANY bruising at all. So hope this helps others. And if my face looks anything like it did after the injections that day, when it starts to do it's magic...I will be really happy. Sculptra is definitely a patience product with long last effects.

I've always been a little hesitant of getting Botox...I didn't want to come away looking like I'd had obvious treatment but was very unhappy about the deep line between my eyebrows and the wrinkles around my eyes which made me look older and angrier than I feel! Dr. Lucas really listened to my concerns and what I wanted to achieve and it completely shows in the results - subtle, but definitely a huge improvement. Her experience, professional manner, and ability to really listen to what I wanted gave me the confidence I needed to go ahead with the procedure. I'll be back for more.

I have been fearful of having the botox injections for years but Dr. Lucas made me feel so confident that all would be okay - that I would be very pleased with the result, too. I was amazed at how comfortable the injections were not to mention that within two hours, it looked like I had an upper lid lift! No lines on my forehead too and yet I still had movement. Everyone keeps telling me how young and refreshed I look. I have worked with several Dermatologists and plastic surgeons and I can say that Dr. Lucas is by far the most skilled at infectables. I am looking forward to my next visit! I also had a filler called Radiesse that is a longer lasting filler product along the jawline and chin. I feel like when I see myself, I look 20 years younger!!! Turning 50 is a much easier hurdle now thanks to Dr. Lucas!
