I went to Dr. Strimling for a series of skin tightening and IPL treatments with the Sciton laser. I have rosacea and some acne scars, along with large pore sizes. I am very happy with the results. The laser was less painful than the IPL treatments I had at another clinic. He is very professional and knows what he is doing. My skin is much better and I have many fewer breakouts and red blotchiness. Prices are competitive, but not the cheapest. But, I never go for groupon or cheap prices when it comes to my cosmetic procedures. Just doesn't seem like a wise choice.
I've had botox before, but only my "11s" so I knew what to expect. I was looking for a new botox person since my former provider was quitting. I don't like to waste time. I got there a little early to fill out paperwork and left the office 5 minute after my scheduled time. He didn't do numbing cream, but it wasn't painful. I got my entire forehead, eyebrows, sides of nose and around eyes done. A week later, it's nice and smooth and I can't make the lines form in those areas even if I try hard, but everything still moves naturally. Very pleased.
I have had Exilis laser performed by Dawnelle (Aesthetician) and she is absolutely wonderful!! She made me feel comfortable, is extremely competant, and has gone out of her way to please me and accomplish the results I was looking for. I would highly recommend her to all of my friends and family!!!
I am very pleased with the results of my neck lift performed by Dr. Strimling. The face and neck work by the doctor was just outstanding. I have been a patient of Dr. Strimling's for about 10 years now and have always had outstanding results whether the procedure was medical or cosmetic. I highly recommend him!
My first impression of Elizabeth (Aesthetician) was very a positive one. She is extremely professional, yet friendly, warm, and caring. I will definitely request her for the remainder of my laser tattoo removal treatments and recommend her to friends, family, & anyone interested in aesthetic laser procedures.
My Visit Was Amazing! - Las Vegas, NV
I have adult acne and can't tolerate strong acne creams combined with the extremely dry Las Vegas climate. My dermatologist suggested accutane but I didn't want to make the drying worse, so I started researching laser. I did research online and decided to see a cosmetic dermatologist. I went in for a consultation with Dr. Strimling and liked his office, he was patient and answered all my questions. Dr. Strimling recommended the Skintyte laser along with BBL. Each one is $250 a treatment, and he recommended 2-3 treatments so it will be total $1000-1500. Dr. Strimling will not perform the actual laser, that will be done by his esthetician, he assured me that he will be setting the machine himself and that his esthetician is extremely experienced. I was hoping to find a licensed dermatologist who actually performs the laser themselves, but could not. Having an esthetician doing the laser treatment seems to be the norm. It would be cheaper to go to a medspa, but I feel safer at least knowing my settings will be customized and overseen by a licensed dermatologist, so I don't mind paying a little more. I am 37 and hoping to finally have some relief from acne thats plagued me my whole life, and hope to the enjoy the other benefits of laser: increased collagen production, reduced sunspots, younger and healthier looking skin. I don't expect my skin to be perfect, but I am hoping I at least won't get cysts that make me so depressed!Updated on 4 Jul 2012:So I did my first treatment today. The laser felt like an electric shock. I felt sick every time it zapped me. But once it was over the pain was gone and I was only a little red, and even that was gone after a couple hours. The only difference in my skin now is that my sun spots are very dark, which is normal and exactly what's suppose to happen. We will see what happens in the next few days. I will post pics.Updated on 7 Jul 2012:Four days after first treatment: Immediately after treatment I small breakout of acne, but noticing already my skin has much more even tone and reduced redness
I have done micro needling before like 4 times. as well as Fractional Resurfacing (ablative), etc so I'm very familiar with many different laser treatment to eliminate acne/scars. This was my first time doing the Radiofrequency micro needling, I wasn't really excited since I did not research before I did the procedure but I was running out of time and I decided to do it on the spot. Anyway, they put you some numbing cream for like 15mins. She did a 3 different stage, first one was the lowest radio frequency. pretty much it was like a micro needling but I guess theirs a radio freqeuncy going to your skin so it would produce more collagen to heal and stuff. she did the whole face for a first and second level. she also mentions that would hurt more when the radio frequency level would go up. The 3rd level was only in the area that has the most scars since they target a deeper area. I don't expect to see the result right away since our skin cell usually takes 27days to regenerate. She mentions that I can do the procedure again every 6weeks+. I guess my definition of downtime to her and mine was different because I expect to look 80% Normal after the downtime but 4th day My whole face was still red and even my friend asked me what happen to my face. I'm still gonna wait for couple weeks for the final result but the other question I had is my it's so expensive? Here in Las Vegas, we can go a full face micro needling for around $300 for one session and some of them give you 3ml of hydraulic acid serum for after care. I did my Fractional resurfacing (ablative) for $976 and downtime was like 9days but $900 was included with 3 free follow up and given 2 different facial creams to heal fast. Meanwhile, with this Radio Frequency microneedeling $1200 and no follow-up and no cream or anything given at the end. So not sure why the cost is higher than a laser treatment and way over price than regular micro needling. Also, this is not California or New York lol. but according to google average cost is $700 to $1000 per treatment so I know that its way overpriced considering here in Las Vegas. well, I was running out of time so I would say I paid for express service. but I hope I would see a great result in couple weeks. Also, do your research for price and result before you jump in right away lol Updated on 21 Jan 2018: sorry guy I been out of town, had a couple of brakes out since my sleeping pater was messed up lol. I would say I would not recommend this procedure. its been more than a month now but I don't see any significant difference in my skin compared to when I did the fractional resurfacing. If I'm going to pay my entire paycheck to do this procedure plus taking a week off from work I want to see a dramatic result, not just a little bit.
I have received BOTOX before from another doctor and did not experience much pain, except a little prick. With Dr. Strimling, it was very hard and rough, very painful. The needle seemed larger than normal and I bruised in a few places. I was suprised after I read many reviews. Confused...to say the least.
Dr Strimling Is the worst! He actually tries to make it as painful as possible, had his assistant tell me they weren’t honoring the sale price quote, and $3k of fillers didn’t even last 6 months. Did I mention he is arrogant and rude? I’ve had plenty of cosmetic work and know a fair price and good work, I got neither from this guy!!!
This could be related to swelling or nerve inflammation; both of which are temporary. If your treating doctor used a local anesthetic to numb the area, then, this is most likely an effect from the local which should resolve by day's end.
Ultherapy is hands down the current best non-invasive face and / or neck lifting, tightening device available at this time.
No, Ultherapy has not been known to cause lymphatic damage or long-term swelling in our experience nor in the literature per my review. I would recommend seeing your primary care or other physician for an evaluation as to a cause.
Yes, Botox can cause double vision if the toxin spread to one or more of the 6 tiny muscles involved in the coordinated movements of your eyes. Please see an ophthalmologist or oculoplastic surgeon for a thorough evaluation, diagnosis and treatment. Botox effects can last between 3 and 6 months. Unintended effects often resolve more quickly. Good luck.
I am not aware of any proven relationship between autoimmune disorders and diminished duration of effect with Botox or similar neurotoxins. However, theoretically, people with auto-immune disorders may make antibodies to Botox more readily; thus, promoting a decreased duration of effect. May be worth trying a different brand, like Dysport or Xeomin.
