Just a Few Days In - Concord, NH

I'm slightly older to be getting big chunky metal braces on my teeth, so I opted for invisalign. I went to my orthodontist. initially about a month ago for them to just look at my teeth and take some pictures. Come to find out I am a perfect client for this product. They were excited about this, so they didn't even sched. a second appointment to make the molds they just did it right there. So to make a long story short I ended up paying 6700$ for these plastic trays, which seemed a bit steep for plastic until my dentist explained why it was expensive. The main things wrong with my teeth are one tooth on the top sticks out really far, I have crowding on the bottom, and I have a really bad overbite(your top teeth bite down past your bottoms) Since I have quite a lot wrong with my teeth I would need to use invisalign for 18 months.. which is what they call the "full boat" Along with this any refinements they or I would like to make would be free. I'm not sure if its free for everyone or not. So it's only taken me about the first day to get used to having plastic in my mouth. And after the second day it became much easier to take in and out for eating, snacking ect. I take them out to eat, and I only brush them at 3 times a day along with my teeth. If i only snack I just rinse them out with water and pop them back in. But I have to say the pain the first day is indescribable... It has to be the worst pain of my life it felt like somebody had a strangle hold on my teeth and it wouldn't let go. And these little attachments they're very pointed at the ends so they kind of scratch my cheeks when my aligners are out. Another thing about these is since I have an overbite these attachments intervene with me being able to bite down all the way which is just a minor inconvenience, something ill get used to over time. But all in all I think this is a great opportunity for anyone who thinks they're teeth aren't how they would like them. You'll get used to anything over time and soon enough I won't even realize I have them in... until I have to put another set in. But I'll keep everyone updated with how this is going and I'll put up some pictures once im almost complete.
