From the minute I walked into Jensen Center for Cosmetic Surgery I knew I was in the best hands. Dr. Jensen, his medical staff and office staff are exceptional. I was heard and understood at every appointment(and every text)! My outcome has exceeded my expectations and I’m only 5 weeks post surgery. I would recommend The Jensen Team to everyone I know! Updated on 25 Aug 2022: I’m 5’ 120 lbs. I had a breast lift with 300cc gummy bear implants. Over the past 7.5 years I have lost a total of 132 lbs. I have always had very large breasts and so the amount of skin and of course sag was something I’ve known I wanted to get surgery on. My only regret is how long I waited to get this surgery!!! I’ll try to post monthly for my first year!
After many years of wishing, I finally got my surgery. I read lots of reviews which helped me, so I figured I would share my experience as well. When I got serious about scheduling my consultations I scheduled with several in my area. I also spoke to women who have had breast augmentation. The surgeon I picked was highly recommended. And I appreciated his knowledge, experience, and skill. So far I am very happy with my results. I wanted something that would make me feel balanced and feminine, without being outrageously big. I've always had a wider hip measurement than chest. After much mental deliberation I went with 415cc moderate profile, which I think will be perfect. Measurements before surgery: 5'8", 130 pounds Chest: 32in, size 32a Waist: 26in Hips: 38in Surgery went OK, I was in a lot more pain than expected the first day. I had wanted to avoid taking narcotics, but I ended up needing them. The most painful thing I experienced was trying to open the pill bottle the first night. Discomfort is gradually getting better, currently post op day 5, and haven't needed prescription meds for the last few days, getting by on ibuprofen. In general it is muscle tightness/soreness, especially in the upper breast/pec area. Still feeling bloated after surgery, and anxious to get back to being active. I'm excited to see how they will look as they continue to drop and soften. So far I am loving them. Updated on 13 Jun 2021: Things seem to be healing well. Most of the soreness and muscle spasms are gone. I've been back to work since post- op day 6 and done just fine. I have been trying to be more active, walking and easy lower body workouts.. Overall they getting softer. They seem to be dropping evenly. Overall no complaints, I love them! Updated on 25 Jun 2021: I still love them. At this point they are feeling a lot more like "me". They are softening up quite a bit. No more soreness or muscle spasms. I've been gradually increasing activity. Seem to be dropping pretty evenly. I feel like the size I went with is perfect, and they seem to fit my body well. I measured and got some new bras and went from 32a to 32DD. Updated on 21 Jul 2021: Overall I am very happy. I'm glad I chose the side I did (415 cc moderate profile silicone), I think that they compliment my frame. Healing is going well. There was a week that one side dropped a little faster, but I think it was minimal and the other side caught up. I went from 32a to 32f bra size. At 6 weeks released to full activity, and I feel ready for it. They are feeling soft, and comfortable. Really no complaints!
7 years ago I had accomplished something I didn't know was possible.... I had lost 90 pounds. Shortly after I had a 'mommy makeover' and would do it again and again, it changed my life! Now that fitness is a daily part of my life I really want to see my muscles, but all I see is skin. I couldn't fill this skin with enough muscles to not sag soooooo here I come arm lift! My previous surgeon focuses mainly on boobs and bellies so I visited my friends surgeon for this procedure. My surgery date snuck up on me! I scheduled it in November and it had felt so far away that I kind of forgot about it! Lol. BUT I began to grow concerned because of the extra armpit skin(I added pics). I noticed on RealSelf a lot of surgeons do it all at once, arm and pit, so I wanted to make sure it was an option for me as well. I was super scared I would end up with skinny arms and mushroom top armpit skin and just couldn't picture how that was going to look. After reaching out to the staff a few times I was able to see the surgeon(zoom call) who couldn't tell me whether I could or could not get it done until surgery day. He felt it would be better to assess in person. I understood but still it left me worried and feeling a little powerless in my choices and options. I had my arm lift April 6th. The surgeon looked at my armpit skin and(thank god!) decided he could do a vertical incision to take off some of the extra skin. Staff was great and very friendly. I feel like I was on the operating table within a half an hour! After surgery my husband took me back to the hotel and I settled in trying to get comfy. It was not easy. I had been prescribed Percocet and it made me itch so bad but I couldn't move my arms cuz it hurt and I felt like I was being tortured! I couldn't get comfortable and was up from midnight to 3 before bursting into tears and waking up my husband. I just hurt so bad, couldn't get comfortable and itched all over. For my first surgeries I was prescribed Percocet without the Tylenol (whatever that is called) and it helped a ton. My former surgeon was generous with the prescriptions wanting I ensure I had a relatively pain free time to heal. So I thought Percocet would be fine! It wasn't! Lol. The next morning I was given Vicodin to see if that would help and it was sooooo much better. I feel like I was not prepared for the healing process of this surgery. It's hard to find anything on when I'm going to start normal activities again. When I asked my surgeon or staff the answers were really dependent upon how I was feeling during my healing..... Well it's post op 3 weeks. I have toughed it out wearing this torture vest 24/7, took all my medication, refrained from doing to much with my arms and I don't feel like I'm ever going to feel normal. At first I thought I was overthinking my pain and letting it build my anxiety so I did some mindful thinking and focused on pulling my awareness of the pain away. It worked for a few days but the hurt is still so great I cant keep mentally masking it. So that is the beginning of my arm lift story. I have added pictures to see progress. I would love feedback from anyone else in the same boat. It still hurts to drive, type, cut apples, etc like everything! I feel like I'm really struggling with the healing and pain right now and it sucks!
Super excited that my long planned reduction and lift is complete! Now 25, I've wanted this since I was 14 years old. Was a 38DDD, but have fluctuated in weight throughout my adult life and have extra skin that is also bothersome. Biggest motivator is to fit into clothes/bras/swimming suits better, exercise w/o pain & constant readjusting, sleep better, and overall feel confident in my body. Reduction and lift were done Monday and I'm so excited. Surgery was a breeze and had minimal pain the first day. Drains were annoying, but overall wasn't terrible. Sleeping is definitely difficult, highly recommend getting a wedge pillow (found mine on Amazon). Mostly likely will end up at a full C. They ended taking mostly skin and a lot less of actual breast tissue. Will post after pics after next appt! Updated on 1 Apr 2021: Finally decided to take a peek and was really surprised at how they look already. Really excited to get the drains out so I can try on normal clothes and sleep better. Definitely has felt like an out of body experience - but feels and looks great so far! Updated on 2 Apr 2021: Drains came out this morning! seriously made everything way easier and less painful. I can finally take a shower. Monday I go back for them to remove the original steri-strips and go over wound care moving forward. Updated on 3 Apr 2021: I’m now able to remove the surgical bra a couple times a day for about 15 min. It was bizarre sitting on the couch with my bf topless lol. I would never do that prior to now. Still bruised, but soreness is pretty non existent. Updated on 5 Apr 2021: Steristrips were removed today. Feeling really great and so happy I did this! Dr. Jensen did an amazing job and I feel like he listened to what mattered to me. His team was beyond kind and attentive every appointment and surgery day. Updated on 22 Jul 2021: I am 4 months post surgery and couldn’t be happier. I’m able to work out with ease, wear whatever I want, and feel so much more confident. Scars are mostly faded, I use bio oil on them almost daily. If you’re thinking about doing it, do it! Updated on 9 Dec 2021: About to hit 9 months post-op and my scars are pretty much non existent. So thankful and happy with the entire experience.
I had a "mommy makeover" (abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, liposuction) after weight loss. It's been three years and I love my results. It was life-changing. I recommended Dr. Jensen to my mother for a facelift and she looks great. I get botox and fillers from Amy and she is wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Jensen.
The facility was clean and beautifully decorated, the staff was extremely friendly and kind, doctor takes time to answer your questions. I would recommend them to my family and friends. They take very good care of you.
I went with Dr. Jensen after being highly recommended by my friends back home. I know about 3 other women who had their breasts done with him. Their word really sparked my desire to inquire with him. It was during the closures though so my consultation was through zoom. Which I appreciated that was even an option. I had a great consultation with Jensen, he was very thorough, and seemed very sincere which made me even more comfortable. Once I got the quote which really wasnt as much as I thought a BA would cost, I finally pulled the trigger to set up an appointment. I live 3 hours away so I didnt see Jensen face to face until my pre op. Majority of everyone in the office was great. I really appreciated how they allowed me to take my time and answered all my questions. By the time I was with Jensen i had no more questions to ask, which I blame on being excited. I went with the 455cc gummy bear moderate profile implants. I am still healing but I really wish I would have asked what my max size was then decided from there. Because of course I have boob greed and feel like they are not as big as I pictured. But they still have to drop and fluff so I'm praying once they are fully healed it will be like I pictured. Speaking of when your trying on the sizers dont let the weight of those scare you, when they are inside you they are not that heavy. Anyways I will have a YouTube video once I'm fully healed on my channel, I will update my post with a link. But overall im glad I went with Jensen, my boobs are still settling but I'm amazed at how nice they look considering I was a -A before. Literally. So I highly recommend Dr Jensen and his team! He has gained a life long patient! After 27 years of being teased of having no boobs, I finally have some nice boobies!!
Dr. Jensen and his entire staff was so nice and helpful! I was really nervous for my procedure because it was to have something removed from my FOREHEAD- right between my eyes- and the result is beautiful!! I am so happy and will definitely reccomend his office to friends and family!!
Dr. Jensen's team did a great job with helping me through the whole process. The prep for ahead of time and follow-up calls were timely and consistent. There were plenty of reminders-phone calls, texts, and emails, to support me what to expect next for my face lift surgery. The care before, during, and after, my surgery was timely and thoughtful.
Dr. Jensen and his staff are absolutely amazing.Youre always feel a warm welcome and are on good hands. They're caring and no question felt silly.......I had a tummy tuck and breast reduction/lift.
A mid facelift mainly improves the look of the cheeks and nasolabial folds. It is too far removed from the jaw line to really help with that area. A mini facelift or lower facelift will typically addresses the jaw line.
At age 23 your breasts should be fully developed. If you maintain your same body weight it will be unlikely that you will see an increase in breast size.
When you have two different size breasts to begin with and add a hematoma on top of that, it can take as long as 6 months for your breasts to even out. As long as you are seeing an improvement each month there is a good chance it can still happen. I suggest taking photos every month to help you keep track of this.
Every state is different in what Medicaid will and will not cover. Best to check with a Plastic Surgeon in your State and see what they can do.
Most women will not require a lift if the nipples are at or above the breast crease. Nipple asymmetry typically remains the same after breast augmentation. Your Plastic surgeon can help you choose the best size to meet your desires.
