I had a great experience. I loved the fact that I was not put under general ana. but local, so I was awake. The shots hurt, however the recovery was amazing. My kids came over for dinner that night to help me and I was really fine and ate dinner at the table with them. I could not eat hard food, but had hot soup. I did what the doctors said and kept ice on my face day and night. I slept in a chair. Two weeks afterwards I was out and about.Great experience. My friends do not know what I ahve done but think I look great. I love it and would do it again in a minute.
I had my LSL 4 days ago and after seeing all the reviews decided to add my two cents. I wanted to get rid of my turkey neck at the age of 49.You are awake during the procedure and will hear what is going on in the surgical suite. You get a mild sedation-vicodin before the procedure to relax you. For better results, my doctor also suggested that I have lipo under my neck area so I did.The day of my surgery, my pain on a scale 1-10 was an 8 and the painkillers prescribed help manage the pain. The next day my pain was about a 2-3 and 3 days post-op I am not experiencing any pain. I am still swollen though with some bruising (post op day 4). However I am very pleased with my results so far.The only thing I found misleading with Lifestyle lift was that the procedure was a little more involved than I expected. It was closer to a mini-face lift with pulling back the muscle, than just a "tightening". So I expected a quicker recovery time than what the consultant or LSL leads you to believe. The Dr. that performed the surgery gave me an accurate account of my recovery time and I didn't feel he mislead me at all. My surgeon didn't have a great bedside manner, but he did tell me like it was and didn't sugar coat anything. He is board certified in Otolaryngology and Facial and Plastic Surgery, which gave me a better feeling about him--especially him being certified in Head and Neck.So far I am pleased with my results and will review again as I progress in my treatment.
I had the neck lift, lipo under my chin and lower eyes. The relults are wonderful. I have so many of my customer wanting information on the surgery. There was a small amount of pain but with medication, I was very comfortable. I was back at work after 2 weeks. The swelling in the first few days was pretty dramatic but this is to be expected. I would not hesitate to do it again.
I had Lifestyle Lift, lower eye procedure, and full face laser treatment just over 11 months ago. I expected the pain during the procedure and I endured the post-surgery healing because I am vain and I figured no pain no gain. However, I've been noticing for the past few months that my jowl line is falling and my eyes are beginning to puff underneath again. I have contacted Lifestyle Lift at the 800 number, been referred to the Houston office where I had the procedure and am now scheduled for March 20, 2014 to meet with a different doctor doctor (Dr. Smith) from the one who did the procedure. Wish me luck! I still owe about $6,000!!
