Today was my initial consultation with my original surgeon Dr Rober Goldman in Perth WA.
I now realize why I chose him to put them in!!! Love him.
So I went in with set ideas on removing my implants and I didn't even have to explain why! He went through my lit of health issues and noted them all down. Done easy as that!! Booked my Mammogram and ultrasound and then the pre op appointment. At hi rate thy should be out by August. All covered by Medicare! Wow a huge weight ha been lifted. I feel so good to finally have things in motion.

OMG my mind has been 24/7 back an forth with trying to make. Decision about adding more procedures to my implant removal an breast lift. (Calling it a reduction in Australia so we get health rebate).
I am 48yrs old, 5.4ft and weigh around 136-148lbs and have fluctuated around this weight since having kids 18yrs ago. Sitting at 148lbs pre surgery, which is in two weeks.
As you can see from my pictures I don't have too many stretch marks. Surgeon listened to my issues an concluded that I wold better suit lipo.
Reasons why he opted for that are as follows.
1. Good abdominal wall strength
2. Skin looks pretty good
3. Lipo would help improve and naturally give me tighter skin.
4. I had issues which how I thought tummy tuck looked. Having given many tummy massages to clients with them, it leaves you with no feminine softness to the skin. I like to feel soft and feminine not hard and firm. Just my desired female look. In my opinion it's what makes us chicks.
5. In 6mths if I have loose draping skin or I have uneven skin he would do a mini tummy skin lift or fix issues for free. Win win in my mind.
So after watching many YouTube videos on the differences I decided he was in fact correct the skin will tighten and I hope I will get the results I am after.
So it's now a breast reduction with implants removed, good by big heavy fake lumps. Hello B cup bee stings and a flat tummy.

Well I was pretty calm. Slightly anxious driving down to the hospital.
Operation I think was 3 or 4 hours under a general anesthetic. (Same anesthetic that I had 3years ago putting implants in an with the same anesthetist.
Woke up feeling very groggy but not in any pain. My nurse got me to sit up then stand up to put my CG on! And yup I started to throw up, pretty much every bit of water came back up. And this happened every time I got up that night. Until midnight when I went home.
Slept well, sipped water all night and kept it down!

Pictures are from day three, but today I actually day 4.
My pain from lipo is at 1-2 mild workout tummy ache.
Pain from breast reduction and removal of implants is at 1
So thought I would start with a bit of an explanation about why I had my implants removed.
Had my implants put in after losing about 10kg in weight. After my weightloss I felt empowered and proud, but saggy and empty and embracing during sex etc. not that it ever bothered my hubby!!! This was all my own doing!!
In my heart I am a hippy loving lady, vegetarian, animal loving, exercise loving kind girl. So I am not sure what I was thinking at the time. But I had saggy boobs and a tummy and hated them. Stupidly I thought my only option was to pump up with implants what I had lost in weight. This took me to an E cup. So for the first year I felt sexy and embraced my voluptuous shape. But this caused such negative effects in my marriage you would not believe, and over time because of this new found confidence in my sexuality, it nearly broke my marriage.
Then my own negative energy surrounding the implants started to happen. I had continual back ache 24/7, breast pains (I later found out to be complicated cysts) and early stages of contacted capsule.
In my mind my body was well and truly rejecting these horrible feeling objects in my chest. They continued to feel alien to me, hard, uncomfortable and just huge and in the way from me feeling good. In other words I felt like an old woman with big nanny boobs, unable to lie on my belly, unable to feel anything in my breasts.
So just shy of 3yrs, I chose to start the process of removing the implants and capsules and whilst I was under to have Vaser lipo on my abdominals & sides. (Because the left overs from having kids never went even after losing 10kg).
Today is post op day 4. I am so happy to have my little bee stings. No foreign objects, no back pain, and on the road to recovery. Yayyyy me

I feel pretty normal now, very mild stiffness in lipo areas. But seriously nothing uncomfortable. I had 1.8ltrs of fat taken out of my abdominals (which equates to 1.8kg apparently). And two implants removed 420ml each.
So not surprisingly I am feeling lighter hehehe
My lipo area is swollen, but it's not a digestive swelling!!! It's a surface swelling. So feels less uncomfortable than digestive uncomfortable swelling. I have issues with bloating from gluten/wheat/sugar. So I have gone onto my gluten free/anti inflammatory diet. To reduce any added inflammation.
I am massaging Arnica cream everywhere (to reduce swelling, bruising etc).
Other things to date have been fluid popping and he occasional oblique twinges when over stretching. My shoe doesn't really look smaller. But not stressing it's a marathon not a sprint.

Today I have decided to chill out, yesterday I cleaned, washed dog, ironed, food shop and baked.... Ending up bloated and boobies sore.
Lesson learned. Not easy stopping yourself from doing things when you feel normal!
Ok, topic for today is... after effects of liposuction.
I have noticed today day 7 that my abdomen is blotchy and red. The bruising I had was in different areas and is now yellow!!! So I assume this discoloration is from the laser and he has gone close to dermis to see if it will help tighten skin. Just hope it disappears as it's not pretty. No point taking pictures as you probably won't see it on a picture. But if anyone out there has had this, it would be great to hear you views and if this will go or if it's permanent. Don't see my surgeon for another seven days to ask him.

Ok so everything has been going very well. Massage myself after every bath in the evening, minimal lumps. Now sleeping without the garment on, but wear it all day. Might still wear it at night sometimes as it's quite comfortable and my surgeon wants me in it for 6wks.
Only bad thing has been my diet!!!! I have had my mum visiting me from U.K. So I have spent three weeks eating....... so I have 1 more week of eating and enjoying mum time together, then it's onto a strict 12 wk weightloss & fitness regimen to get me to the 3-6mth target and bikini season.
