I had smooth round saline 350cc under the muscle implanted in 2002. They were explanted dec 2018. My breasts (below the nipple and the nipple itself) were numb the entire 16 years. They felt very odd and uncomfortable and sometimes painful the entire time. I never told my husband EVER. Since removal they are still numb BUT... 4 weeks after explant they are both tender & sore to the touch. They are still numb. I doubt I will ever have sensation again, but maybe they are sore because things are regenerating ?? What a drag and disappointment as I used to love a nice boob massage from hubby. Just know that this is a real possibility & Truly negative side effect from implants ...and it really does suck!! Be informed.
