I had Upper Blepharoplasty done by a eye doctor who did a terrible job. He said I have to refer you to a specialist (I thought he was the specialist). I went to Dr. Beaulieu. He corrected the other doctors mistakes and now I look normal again. Many thanks to a Great Doctor. I would 100% use him again.
I went to Dr. Beaulieu for ptosis repair surgery on my left eye. I am very happy with the results and so glad I had the surgery with this outstanding doctor. I am 5 months post my surgery now and my eye looks much better. There is also a good symmetry with the other eye. Dr. Beaulieu provided a clear explanation of the surgery outcome and answered all my questions. He was very kind and reassuring. My recovery time was relatively quick and this succesful ptosis repair gave me my confidence back. I can't thank him enough. I highy recommend this doctor.
Dr. Beaulieu was very professional. He also has a pleasant bedside manner and answers questions readily. My eyes looked years younger!!! I am very pleased with the results. I would recommend his offices and services.
I had an upper and lower eye lid lifts which was 2 separate procedures and both went amazing. Dr. Beaulieu was so friendly, helpful, and caring I felt like I was in great hands from start to finish. My whole quality of life was improved with this procedure and I am very thankful to find such a wonderful team to experience it with.
Results were excellent, everything I hoped for! Dr Beaulieu was very personable. He explained everything before, during and after the procedure. the eyelid lift actually improved my vision tremendously!

The upper eyelid crease is formed by eyelid structures (septum and levator aponeurosis) and their attachments to the skin. This is an anatomically derived line. Filler to the upper eyelids must be done very carefully as it can easily lead to unwanted effects due to the eyelid having very thin skin. Additionally, there are multiple muscles that lie within close proximity in the eyelid that can be damaged by filler injection. Filler to the superior sulcus can add volume to the upper eyelid appearance. However, this would not necessarily lower the eyelid crease. In my experience, the eyelid crease is best changed (raised or lowered) with surgery.
Receiving a personalized treatment pattern is key for success and patient happiness. Having a discussion with your provider about your goals for treatment is very important. The glabellar region (procerus and corrugator muscles) depresses the medial brow and creates the "11 lines." By injecting this area, the "11 lines" diminish and the central brow becomes smooth. By injecting across the forehead, you treat the frontalis muscle, which is the only muscle which elevates the brows and forehead. With various patterns combined with other injection sites (mainly the glabellar area and crow's feet and sparing the lateral frontalis muscle), you can get a mild lateral brow lift due to unopposed action of the lateral frontalis muscle. If the main concern is forehead wrinkles, an injection pattern dispersed across the frontalis muscle is very reasonable and does not require additional injection sites. It is important to realize that injections into the forehead can lead to drooping of the brow since this weakens the only muscle that elevates the brow.
