After putting off breast augmentation for over 15 years, I finally found the courage to have them done by Dr Rob Choa. After being in the industry for a while, I have seen too many "bad sets" so I was extremely cautious on who I settled on. Dr Rob was amazing from the first consultation, the surgery itself and the aftercare. Nothing was ever too much trouble, every question was answered and I genuinely felt like a person, not just a number. The scarring is minimal, and placed perfectly so it's really hard for anyone to notice. They were natural, soft and healed before the 6 week appointment which was another bonus. I would and will recommend Dr Rob one million percent. His skills are second to none and I will continue to tell everyone just how amazing his work is. He is up there with the best plastic surgeons I have ever came across. Thank you Dr Rob!
Dr Rob is amazing - I was very nervous about having this procedure - I had breast augmentation 20+ years ago and had an implant rupture so required removal and replacement - after a relatively negative experience with another surgeon I was recommended to see Dr Choa - what an amazing result - seamless process from start to finish - easy to contact and staff are always kind and happy to answer any questions - team at his practice are extremely nice and approachable and Dr Choa is exactly the same. No need to sign a social media waiver (this was expected at another surgeon). I would highly recommend Dr Choa to anyone.
Well, where to start! When I decided to get an breast augmentation, I knew I wanted the best surgeon I could find. Working in the medical field myself (albeit Veterinary!), I understand the importance of choosing a surgeon with the best expertise, qualifications and reputation. It’s simple really - you pay for what you get and when it comes to my own body, it is important to opt for quality over value/ cost! After some research, it was a no brainer than I booked in for a consult with Dr Rob given his amazing credentials (specialist Plastic surgeon) and extensive experience with cosmetic surgeries. His personal values are an extra bonus! From the moment I attended my first consult, I was made to feel so special and instantly trusted all the staff - the wonderful & friendly front of house staff, nurses, assistants, and of course both Dr Rob and Dr Ahn. The hospital/ theatre staff on the day and Dr Nicole my anaesthetist were also wonderful. I did not feel nervous at any point and the day of my surgery, everything went very smoothly. I was super impressed that despite a full day of theatre, Dr Rob still took the time to call me and message me to check in on how I was going. Immediately post I was doing really well - pain was at a minimum and I was in love with my results already! My post op care and follow up care was also second to none. Overall I highly recommended Dr Rob and the team. Their professionalism, expertise and quality of care is something you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. It will be so worth it!
I couldn't recommend Dr Rob enough, he was very understanding, realistic, positive and an all round great surgeon. From the day I met him at my consult to post op the experiences were all very positive. My surgery was better than expected and over the moon with my results. I couldn't recommend him enough to anyone. Made me feel very comfortable and not at all awkward. Highly recommended.
I was lucky enough to have Rob perform breast augmentation a few weeks back. Not only does he have great attention to detail he gave me realistic expectations regarding what size would be best suited to my physique. He has such a lovely bedside manner and felt very much at ease going into surgery. I cannot recommend Rob enough. Thank you for giving me my confidence back.
Dr Rob made my experience as comfortable as possible. I did not have a certain size in mind going into my consultation as I was willing to take Dr Rob’s advice, and I am extremely happy with my results.
Dr Rob was amazing and I highly recommend. He was very knowledgeable, confident and made the procedure a great experience. 6 weeks in and I absolutely love my results and couldn't be happier. Thank you.
After many years of looking and researching surgeons I'm so glad i choose to go ahead. Dr Rob Choa is an amazing surgeon, he is very thorough with the consultation, takes the time to really understand what it is that you want and carefully explains any concerns you may have. He took my small A cup boobs to glorious E cups more suited to my frame. I have 520cc high profile. My only regret is I never did them sooner. I would highly recommend you book a consultation with Dr Rob Choa. You won't regret it
From the very start doctor rob makes you feel very welcome and at ease , no questions are left unanswered , the staff kept in contact before and after the treatment they were wonderful and understanding , I have recommended doctor rob to friends and work colleagues .
From the first consultation to the final review, Dr Rob was professional, very informative and most of all very understanding and listened to my concerns. I am more than happy with the results of my surgery, I only wish I had done it years ago!!! 10/10 Dr Rob!!!
Hi It’s common practice to insert an implant that is slightly narrower than the outer breast measurement. The Mentor moderate plus anatomical implants which are in the 400cc range are around 13cm wide, so wider than your breasts. Putting these implants in may cause the breasts to come unnaturally close together in the centre or out to the sides. Like you say, an in person assessment would give you a better idea of what would work best
Hi, It is possible for patients with autoimmune conditions to have breast implants. It is thought that a rare condition called Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL) might be linked to patients with autoimmune conditions. ALCL to date has only been reported in patients who have received textured breast implants, not smooth. Therefore if you were going ahead with surgery it might be best to discuss a smooth implant with your surgeon. Hope that helps!
Hi, If your surgery is purely cosmetic and Medicare isn’t being billed for any part of your treatment it shouldn’t show up on your Medicare record. Hope this helps!
Hi, I think its unlikely you have capsular contracture 10 weeks after surgery. It’s common for the breasts to feel firm initially and then gradually settle over the first 6 months. It would be more likely to have capsular contracture on one side rather than both sides. It also looks like you have reasonably large implants compared to your frame, so everything is likely to be under more tension, which can take longer to settle. Hope that helps!
Hi, Looking at your photos, I don’t think you do have tuberous breasts. The nipple areolar complex doesn’t look herniated from the breast, nor do you appear to have a significant shortage of skin in the lower pole of the breasts. If only aiming for a very moderate increase in size I believe a small implant alone would achieve your goals. It would be better if you saw a plastic surgeon in person however. Hope that helps!
