My hyperhidrosis was seriously limiting my clothing options and was embarassing on so many occasions. Even when the sweatmarks were not visible, i could feel sweat dripping and my clothing was almost always damp. Dr. Gandhi was fantastic from explaining how Miradry works, and throughout the actual procedure. He is meticulous, attentive, and has an easy going demeanor. He is polite, never seems like he is in a hurry and he is able to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. The procedure itself was mostly painless, and Dr. Gandhi was careful to make my underarms as numb as possible. Since Miradry takes quite a bit of time, it could be tempting for some doctors to rush, but Dr. Gandhi was thorough and methodical. After the procedure he took extra time to explain to me what to expect, he gave me ice and pain medicine, and he checked in with me the next day to make sure i was doing ok. The pain was worst for me 6-8 hrs after the procedure, but was quite tolerable by the next day. I could not have hoped for a better experience with Miradry & Dr. Gandhi, and i am super excited to be able to wear whatever i want without fear of sweat marks!
I saw Dr. Rishi Gandhi today for the Miradry procedure for both underarms. I have had excessive sweating for years that was not improved with numerous over the counter and prescription treatments. I opted to have Miradry performed as it sounded like an amazing treatment option. The procedure was performed professionally and was nearly painless. Although it is an intensive treatment, Dr. Gandhi's expert technique made it a very comfortable experience. Every detail of the procedure was explained and all of my questions were answered. I can't wait to enjoy the benefits! Updated on 7 Sep 2017: Hello! Here is a pic from day 21 post-op. I still have the silicone surgical tape. Can take off week 4-5. Feeling better every day. Believe it or not I am fluffing up quite a bit. Solid 30c. Bought a gapbody wireless bra for the transition time and it is super comfy. Loving my new perky littles!!! Could not be happier but I can't wait to get back to yoga and jogging. One more week and then I can ease back in.
Dr. Rishi Gandhi had done my miradry so I trusted him to do dysport, a botox alternative, to the areas HE recommended on my face. After some consultation and full explanation of the procedure (which included handing me the mirror to follow along with him) I basically let him do what he felt would be appropriate. I will post pics to show the outcome. I am very happy. Do I look 43 going on 44 to you?
The Miradry procedure was something I wanted to do, but was nervous and I HATE needles! Dr Rishi Gandhi eased my worries, explained the procedure in detail and I am so glad I did it! No more sweating, and no more underarm hair (a bonus!). After the procedure, I was swollen, in mild pain, bruised, but with ice and tylenol, it wasn't bad. Swelling and bruising lasted about a week and half. Dr Gandhi called to check on me that evening, to make sure I was doing ok, and if I had any concerns.
I am a nurse and had stopped wearing my whites because of sweat stains. I assist in surgery which gets warm quick and nothing I had tried had ever helped. I had the miradry procedure done with Dr. Gandhi and I haven't worn antiperspirant/deodorant since. No more sweat stains, odor OR HAIR!! This was after only one treatment. After the procedure I was given the option for pain medicine which I initially declined. On the second day I accepted but only had to use it for the day after. I had NO downtime (which might be why I needed the pain medicine) and worked my normal schedule after the procedure. I could not be happier!!!
