BUYER BEWARE- ....failed implant surgery and 2 years later I discover an infected implant STILL in my upper jaw. RICHARD NEJAT never told me he left it in my head. 2015 I began treatment in NYC with Dr. Nejat for dental implants, all-on-4 @ Advanced Periodontics and Implant Dentistry aka: a plethora of many other business names. 2016 Dr. Richard Nejat performed ‘all-on-4’ implant surgery. It cost $15,000. - The surgery was extremely painful. Teeth were removed and Dr. Nejat was not willing to prescribe ANY pain meds other than Tylenol during the 8 hour surgery with no sedation. Only localized Novocain. The implants began falling out and were removed I did not have enough bone to support the apparatus Dr. Nejat placed in my mouth. It felt as though my nose was going to be pulled out out my mouth. REMOVING THE IMPLANTS The second surgery was longer and more painful than the first. During the surgery I was left alone in the room for long periods of time (literally crying out loud in pain) and was ignored in order for Dr. Nejat to service more than one customer at a time? He doesn’t like the sound of crying women? Your guess is as good as mine. 2016-2017 Trying to get my money back $15,000.00 . Dr. Nejat held on to every penny I gave him and made me fight tooth and nail (no pun intended) for it. Dr. Nejat insisted I provided him with a signed, notarized document stating I would not to sue him. I never wanted to sue him. I only wanted my money returned. I have since asked him to pay for my surgery tomorrow but he still ignores me. September, 2018 I will undergo a surgical procedure to remove an infected implant in my upper jaw. Dr. Nejat left the implant in my mouth when he surgically removed the failed ‘all-on-4’ implants to years ago. As a side note: the lab he works with made me dentures that at were so huge, I filed them down with sandpaper on the end of a drill. These dentures were superior compared to the ones Dr. Nejat made, but both pairs really sucked.
