diVa Tyte is a light based therapy used to improve the appearance, texture and tone of the vulva.  This treatment is office based and requires no anesthesia.  Treatments are delivered in 5-6 sessions approximately 2 weeks apart and involve a motion technique similar to a massage where the vulva tissues are gently warmed.  This heat therapy leads to a "remodeling" of the deeper tissues resulting in improved tone which can enhance sexual pleasure and improve self esteem.  More significant vulvar or labial changes may require surgical therapy and it is therefore important to consult with your GYN provider to determine if diVa Tyte is potentially appropriate to meet your expectations.

With diVa, two lasers (instead of just one) work simultaneously to precisely treat the vaginal skin and connective tissues such that the healing process leads to improved collagen formation and increased blood vessel density which improves vaginal laxity, lubrication, and leakage.  A sterile quartz dilator is a sanitary “sleeve” placed over the laser allowing each treatment to stretch the vaginal skin so that all ares of the vaginal canal are treated to the desired degree.  Each session can be fine-tuned and customized to each particular patient and her specific needs with regards to depth of treatment as well as portion of the vaginal canal that is treated.  This is all accomplished with computer automation so that treatments are more reproducible across sessions eliminating any inconsistencies that may occur with platforms that require manual manipulation of the laser.  Each treatment only takes approximately 3-5 minutes whereas other platforms may require as long as 15-30 minutes.  In essence, diVa is a premium laser resurfacing platform that is customizable to each patient's particular circumstances and desired results, is completed in the office, and is associated with essentially no post treatment down-time.

diVa is for women with concerns regarding vaginal laxity, lubrication, or leakage where estrogen has failed or is not appropriate due to medical contraindications or for women who prefer the convenience of an office treatment with no down-time and more immediate results.  We have found it very helpful for postmenopausal women who struggle with lubrication difficulties during intercourse, those who suffer from embarrassing urinary incontinence when laughing or sneezing, women who have difficulties making it through a movie without having to make a trip to the restroom, and for women following childbirth who are troubled by vaginal laxity issues.  diVa will not correct major degrees of prolapse or severe urinary incontinence so it is important to consult with your provider to determine if laser vaginal therapy may be an option for you.

Vaginal tightening can be accomplished by many methods-surgery, radiofrequency, and/or laser rejuvenation.
