Painful but Worth It!

Justin is the best technician and spokesmodel for the procedure. He is so knowledgeable and I trust him implicitly with all things beauty related. The treatment went well and he took his time for the numbing to work, but it is still quite uncomfortable, however the result is clearly worth it.

First time using Radiesse

This was my first time using Radiesse in my glabellar region. I’m 1 day post procedure and I’m not going to lie I was extremely stressed because of how much swelling there is. I looked like Dr. Spock as my nose bridge looked widened, but happy to say that finally by mid day today I’m noticing the swelling is starting to go down and my nose is looking more like me again but still not completely gone. I was very close to go back to doctor to receive the enzyme that’ll reverse the filler effect. I’ve had both Juvederm and Restylane before and didn’t have this much swelling as Radiesse. The doctors personal assistant has been in constant contact with me trying to assure me the swelling is normal and by Saturday it should be completely gone. The best advice I can give to anyone getting Radiesse is to EXPECT swelling, and just be patient. The doctor and his personal assistant assured me that once the swelling does go down that I will probably like the effects of Radiesse better than Juvederm and Restylane. I’ll keep you all posted! Updated on 19 Apr 2019: Update on Radiesse injections in glabella folds: 48 hours later and the swelling in my nose bridge is very close to gone just as the personal assistant and doctor promised! Phew! I’m also pretty sure I annoyed the personal assistant with my constant texts asking questions but he put up with me and my nerves very well lol! And again as they both promised that I would like the Radiesse better than the Restylane and Juvederm.. I’m finally starting to see what they meant. I have no folds in my glabella area it’s completely flat now even when I squint my eyebrows together; still waiting on some minor nose bridge swelling to go completely away. If I had to estimate, I would say that the swelling is about 90% gone! 10/10 recommend Dr. Richard Blanchar and his team! Updated on 4 May 2019: Swelling is completely gone and my forehead is frozen! I feel silly for stressing out that much now! LOL, the swelling was completely gone after one week! Despite the bad swelling I’m actually really liking the Radiesse effects!
