In addition to asking the questions Dr. Borowski recommends (below), it would be interesting to see your root alignment, jaw bone levels and the positions of your temporomandibular joints (TMJ's...a.k.a. jaw joints) to see if they are in healthy condition...and also to assess whether your right and left side vertical jaw bones (ramus) heights are approximately even or if there is asymmetry. (In our practice we make these assessments with a low radiation 3D dental CAT scan, as fully assessing the condition of 3D teeth, bone and joint structures with a 2D xray is challenging). Evenly leveling and balancing your bite (occlusion) so that your teeth are aesthetically and functionally aligned will be dependent on these assessments. There are additional important measurements, for example, the Curve of Spee, the Curve of Wilson and the "Golden Proportions," are a few, which should also be taken into account in to help ensure your smile is optimally treated. And yes, braces would be needed again to achieve your goal Best wishes.
