After years of clenching and grinding, my teeth began to hurt and move out of place. I did not like the way my teeth looked in pictures, so I always made sure to never show them when I smiled. Dr. R suggested that I try Invisalign to correct my bite to prevent the grinding and move my teeth back into place. Sure enough, he was right and after 9 months of wearing Invisaligns my teeth straightened out and my bite was corrected! I couldn't be happier with how well it worked. I get complements all the time on how nice of a smile I have! I don't hold back from smiling now!
As a dental professional myself im very picky who i trust my smile with. I have been wanting to straighten my teeth for a long time, but didnt want the traditional metal braces. I choose Dr Rancanelli due to his knowledge and experience with invisalign and his Propel technology. I have been treated by Dr Rancanelli with Invisalign & Propel to alleviate my lower crowding and align my teeth, i started treatment in October and I am almost done! Propel has speed the process up and I couldn't be more happy. Without propel and Dr Rancanelli, it would have take over two yrs to get my teeth at this point. I can't wait to see the final outcome!
Hello,No Invisalign is not able to move your 2nd molar and wisdom tooth to fill a gap left from a missing tooth. An implant and crown is suggested for a missing tooth, but would suggest you have an in person consultation with a dentist or orthodontist to discuss the best course of action for you.Best of Luck!
Hello edrumm,Yes, you can use Invisalign to widen the smile or that is to expand the upper teeth or arch. This is different than expanding your jaw, which is sounds like what the orthodontist was referring to.Best of luck!
Hello mysongbookteeth,Congratulations on your Invisalign treatment! It's fantastic that you are compliant with wearing your aligners. 22 hours is the recommended length of time per day. The more you wear your aligners the better, but if you're wearing them consistently for approximately 20 hours a day, you will be ok. Consistency is key.Best of luck!
Hello VeryCyrious,The cost of veneers will vary depending on your location and the dentists level of skill and experience. The price is per tooth and the total cost will depend on how wide your smile is (assuming you want to have veneers on all the teeth you see when you smile). Since this is an elective cosmetic procedure, it is unlikely insurance will cover any portion of the fees.I would recommending researching cosmetic dentists in your area, looking at their before and after pictures, reading reviews and consulting with a few to get opinions, an idea of cost and what to expect from the procedure.Best of luck!
Hi cinthiai95,To determine the length of treatment needed to correct your underbite and align your teeth you would need an in person consultation with either a dentist who is certified to do Invisalign or an orthodontist. Each patient is different and there is not a one size fits all answer. Many dental professionals will give you a complimentary consultation before starting any work to discuss the recommended treatment, length of time and cost. Best of luck!
