Dr Reid Pflueger is a wonderful Plastic Surgeon. I highly recommend him and his staff!! He answered all my questions, scheduling was easy and he was very attentive to my needs. I felt comfortable from the start to finish.
I typically use smooth round implants. Shaped implants tend to be textured and there is evidence that textured implants can be associated with other disease (ie ALCL). As far as the profile (moderate versus high) keep in mind that the higher the profile and the larger the implant the more pocket stretch and tissue thinning that occurs. This can lead to the need for additional/revision surgery sooner. Higher profile implants can give more upper pole fullness and a more "augmented" look. With most implant lines there are usually more than two profiles to choose from so make sure to ask your board certified plastic surgeon what all the options are. Best of luck and enjoy your new look!
