Dear Spoon, The only reason i can think off not to perform surgery is your YOUNG&nbsp; age....most often the womb needs to come out..what did the urogyne's tell you when ask for surgery..or another medical contra indication.
 
a pessary is a nuisance, with anaerobic discharge and a smelly business to maintain, not a modern alternative..

34 years old. Been told by 4 doctors (urogyne) i have stage 1-2 cystocele 1-2 rectocele stage 1 uterine prolapse. One vaginal birth three years ago. Induced. Small cystocele started in 2013 though. Why are doctors telling me no surgery ? I have back pain and lower abdominal pain. It seems to me the prolapses are getting worse. I guess what is wrong with surgery if it bothers me and I want it fixed.

I do agree with my colleague..from New Jersey,..there is no real correlation..unless..you had very late..procedures..induced..for medical reasons..or premature ..births..

I had quite enlarged labia before. And I appreciate that swelling doesn’t show a clear result until properly healed etc. But could I have opinions on my labiaplasty? Do you think it will turn out symmetrical? One side is significantly more swollen than the other. What if it heals and I still have excess skin?

It will eventually close, may be due to burn..friction..looks inflamed..do you still leak ..?
otherwise..get it in touch with surgeon, he may consider excising it under local and close it with fine stitches..if leaking has stopped. closes..within 72 hrs..

I got smart lipo 4 weeks ago. The incision "hole" is not closing. Is that normal? Photo attached. Its a holiday weekend so can't get in touch w surgeon for a few days. Does it need to be re-stitched? I believe it is infected, and have been using anti-biotic ointment w/ bandaids to cover the hole.

Dear Pnema, recurrent bladder infections often occur when you are not able to empty the bladder completely, e.g is there is a cystocele..bladder prolapse present..esp.before going to bed at night...try to insert a finger through the vagina..to elevate bladder.. to try and empty the bladder completely.
Retained urine.- a residue...is a heavenly environment full of nutrients for bacteria ( they are everywhere)..to reproduce..this is what causing harm..and the usual symptoms..the amount of bacteria..
