My whole life, I had this pocket of fat under my chin - did not look great as I got older so I decided to do something about it. My goal was to make the neck/chin/lower face area look better. I did not want anything on the upper part of my face as I am totally cool with aging and was looking for subtle. Dr. Mahabir was amazing from start to finish, the experience was a journey as I had never had any sort of surgery in my life let alone one that was choosing. The surgery itself was fine, and recovery physically was a breeze. I read all my materials from cover to cover, and likely over thought whether I was doing everything correctly. There was a period (on and off) the few months post surgery where I felt down, like 'why did I do this to myself?'. Who knows what that was, but I will say without hesitation I am happy I did it. Swelling was completely gone a few weeks later (4 weeks or so), and the numbness/tingly sensation lasted well into the next year but is not bothersome at all. I took my surgeon's advice and ensured I had a great skincare routine to preserve the 'investment' in my face - specifically I am religious about my neck cream. I ended up a year after the surgery changing my lifestyle in terms of exercise/diet and had a slow roll over 3 years of losing 50 lbs. Surprisingly, the lower face lift (and believe me, I had a fat face!) held up beautifully despite the significant weight loss. I do not regret this one bit, and highly recommend to anyone looking to change the look of their neck area and have an overall refreshed feeling.

After making the decision to undergo a breast augmentation, I began my searched for a Dr who was both knowledgeable and would make me feel comfortable throughout my experience. I went to a handful of consultations but Dr Mahabir became the obvious choice after my visit with him! He was informative, patient and straightforward while also maintaining a very warm presence . My preferences, lifestyle and hopes were taken into consideration in all aspects of his assessment. He was able to keep my expectations realist by explaining all risk vs benefits when discussing my potential options. This is something that especially stood out to me as I didn’t get much of it in my other consultations. The office staff was very easily to talk to as well when ever a new question would pop up in my head. My recovery was not even half as bad as I planned it to be, again crediting this to the thorough information Dr Mahabir and his staff went over. The best part of course is my breast look AMAZING and make me wish I did this sooner! They are exactly what I wanted and healed just as he said they would. Symmetrical, perfectly proportioned to my body breasts with what I would consider non-existing scars. I am very thankful for the care that was provided from beginning to end! I am a 61 yr old female RN who's lifestyle no longer supported the saline breast implants I had since 2003. Over the years they became extremely heavy and were in the way of my athletics. Though I have always exercised, and was near ideal weight, I had some areas that were bothering me. Dr. Mahabir expertly performed a deflation, followed by an explantation and capsulectomy with mastopexy. I also chose to include liposuction to my flanks, abd and axillary region. I am now 6 weeks post surgery and I am beyond happy with the results. I can only imagine the refining that will continue to occur as I heal completely. Every step of the way the clinic staff was professional and thoroughly explained what to expect. Being a RN, I did take a full 6 weeks off work due to the lifting/pulling required. The first couple weeks were rough, but entirely worth it. I have been in the medical field for decades and I know excellent work when I see it.

I am healing so quickly, as well as gaining my confidence back, thanks to Dr. Mahabir's immense surgical knowledge and artistic mastery. I am beyond thrilled with my results and am so happy to have found the Best Plastic Surgeon right here in Scottsdale.I have never written a review for anyone, but after seeing and feeling the incredible results of my surgery, I want anyone who is contemplating Plastic Surgery, to go have a consult with Dr. Mahabir because he is brilliant.

Consultation - I have been wanting a boob job since I breastfed my twins 5 years ago. Immediately upon my consultation, the office felt like home. The front desk girl, Kelsie (sp?) was so cheerful and greeted me immediately. I was brought into a room to meet the doc first and discuss my wishes, before going to the exam room. The exam room was clean and bright. I loved my goody bag I received with a tumbler and hair ties. After changing into my robe, Dr Mahabir came in to take measurements. He went over every option, and the pros and cons of each. We came up with a solid plan that both of us agreed. Brittany, took my before and after a gave me a ton of useful information, especially printing out my wish pictures for the operating room. Pre op-- pre op was an easy experience. Karla was very kind and had gone over everything and answered all of my questions with ease. There was a discrepancy about my prescriptions. My name was incorrect, sent as my nickname instead of full name. They immediately handled that and everything was good to go! Surgery day-- omg want an amazing experience. I felt really welcomed with Tiffany at the front desk. When my nurse Nicole came to get me, I felt a nice connections with her, easing my nerves of all surgical talk and we were able to converse about normal life. She was so informative and she really made me feel like she paid attention to me. Dr Mahabir came in to make his marks and go over our exact surgical plan to make sure we were on the same page. He was so friendly and confident, which I loved. Dr. Fox my anesthesiologists came in and prepped me for what was next, and gave me my feel good meds. Then off we went to the OR! I was happy they wheeled me, instead of me having to walk in the room. Put me at ease. Once I was on the operating room table, Dr Mahabir held my hand and I had a mask put on my nose and face and told to breathe normal. Next thing I know, I'm getting dressed, and ready to go home. I had zero pain last night, slept like a baby on my back, and this morning feeling great. DR MAHABIR AND HIS STAFF ARE THE BEST!!! HIGGGGGHHHHHLLLLLLYYYYY RECOMMENDED!!

Dr. Mahabir is an artist and surgical God. He is an exceptional surgeon with an extraordinary team that stands beside him. Amber, Andrea, Brittany, literally everyone at his surgical center is beautiful on the inside and out. His office is pristine and the fresh pressed juice is delicious, but his patient care and attention to detail is what truly sets him apart. He will get to know you and make you feel like a whole human that deserves the best care. He even recommended skin care products that have tightened the loose skin from surgery. After an extremely traumatic bilateral mastectomy reconstruction from another surgeon that left me bed bound for 2.5 months, Dr. Mahabir has literally given me my quality of life back. He stands by the oath that he took and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a medical or cosmetic procedure. I only wish I would have found him sooner!
