Unfortunately, because many rely on the internet and what it says, many people are skeptical when it comes to Lasik. Misinformation, false advertisements, and price wars affect the quality that Lasik has. As far as Keratoconus, researchers are still not sure what are the causes. Mostly genetics is involved, but Laser vision correction is safe under expert hands.

Best way to treat presbyopia is with Refractive Lens Exchange. Going back once more to treat astigmatism with PRK will increase your chances of having a weak cornea, which you already seem to have with two Lasik enhancements.

Lasik is designed to help vision. It corrects the vision. Many people are happy with the results, even if they are high or low myopes. The risk involved with Lasik are very minimal.

Dry eyes is normal after Lasik, putting artificial tears will help with that. Vision will improve, in some patients it takes 3-6 mos for clearity.

Should I Wear Glasses?

With astigmatism, vision quality is less than a person that does not have astigmatism. It will help reduce ant  glare that you may see at night.

The earliest age we can do Lasik is at 18. I even did the procedure on my son at age 18. Before you go on with the procedure it is essential to see your record in vision. See how it has been for the last couple of year (stable/unstable).

Blurry Left Eye 10 Years After Lasik?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

It is highly recommended that in your situation you go and visit an ophthalmologist specialized in refractive surgery. You may just need an enhancement or the specialist can conduct a full eye exam to see if there could be something else in the back of the eye that is affecting your vision.

One of the effects that Lasik can have on a person is dry eyes. So with that in mind, make sure your ophthalmologist first tries some sort of treatment for dry eyes to see if it is safe to go on with Lasik. Now if you are happy with having distance vision corrected and still wear reading glasses, then if your ophthalmologist agrees and says its safe then go ahead. At the same time there is another procedure in which all three of your vision zones will be targeted and corrected. With what I like to call, Prelex. A presbyopic lens exchange in which a new artificial bio-compatible lens replaces the old dysfunctional lens. The benefit about this procedure is that you would not develop any dryness.
