Hi there - What you describe sounds fairly normal. As your body creates the scar around the implant (capsule) this sensation should hopefully diminish for you. Palpability or feeling of the implant, along with rippling and sensation changes are all possible, and can be normal depending on the implant choice, placement choice and how much tissue you had to start out with. If you have any concerns or pain, it is always best to call your surgeon and have him or her perform a thorough evaluation. All the best!
Thank you for your question. Only after a detailed consultation and evaluation of your particular skin and soft tissue pattern, can someone tell you what is the best product and the number of syringes needed to produce your aesthetic goals. The location of injection often determines how long it will last; the more an area animates (or moves) the faster it’s effect may wear off. Importantly, there is variability from person to person. The cost will vary depending on the product used and the surgeon chosen to administer the injections. For more information, be sure to find a trustworthy surgeon, with experience and impeccable credentials in your area. ---- *The responses reflect a response to a public post and should not be considered medical advice or treatment. Great question and understandable concerns. A fully customized plan is necessary to figure out just how much of a particular product may be needed. Great question. When dermal fillers are injected the material expands the surrounding tissue. This is normal, and may cause some raising of the skin surface. Over a few days this subsides to a flatter surface, while maintaining the cosmetic improvements for the life of the filler. There are also known complications to filler injection, and not every ‘bump’ is the same. This may require an in-person evaluation by your injector sooner than your follow up.
