I lost over 90lbs in the past 18 months, and I felt amazing, but I was left with a lot of hanging skin. Dr. Velasco is amazing with body lift and is so affordable. He was able to do a full lower body lift which included extended tummy tuck (all the way around), extended thigh lift, and some liposuction in the pockets of my knees where the fat just hung. I am so delighted, and feel so grateful to Dr. Velasco for changing my life. I am now a much better mother, spouse, and its a joy to wake up every day. I am going back for an upper lift (breast & arm lift) later in the year. Thank you Dr. Velasco.

I had Dr. Velasco for a mid-face lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, and neck tightening. I am thrilled with the results. My eyes are nice and wide, and my chin looks great. He is an excellent surgeon who is extremely attentive to his patients. He visits you while you are recovering in your hotel and ensures you have everything you need for a full recovery.

The entire experience, from start to finish, was excellent. The professionalism, courtesy and quality of care by Dr. Rafael Velasco Marin and the staff at the hospital was reassuring and comfortable. The blood tests and assessment beforehand was at Victoria Clinic and the actual surgery was at Galenia Hospital. Both are top notch facilities which deserve favourable mention for their staff quality, environment and efficiency. The surgeon has experience, skill and bedside manner that are at the top of the scale. Dr. Velasco's follow-up is excellent and made himself available by text, phone call or visit at his clinic on numerous occasions in the days and weeks after the surgery. An extraordinary personal nurse, Nancy Becerra G.N.G.O is to be commended for assisting to carry out the post-op care and absolutely helped speed initial healing in the first 2 weeks following what must be considered a major procedure.

The tummy tuck scar is a tiny line that is barely visible. The lipo has kept any fat from returning anywhere on my body. I had very little pain during recovery and felt great once the compression garment was removed. I had to wear the garment for one month so I suggest you purchase two as I did for cleanliness.

He was so professional in his work and really listened to what I wanted. I told him exactly what I wanted and after many photos that I showed him, we decided on the perfect size for my body type and I'm very happy with the size and shape :) He opperates out of Gelenia, which is a really nice private hospital in Cancun. He allows you to stay the night at no extra charge as well, which is something you'd never be able to do in Canada or the states. I'm glad I spent the night because the nurses were there to help my boyfriend get me out of bed to pee in the middle of the night. Super helpful. I was referred to Dr. Velasco by a good friend of mine who has been going to him for years for various procedures including breast implants, lift, lipo, botox, etc. He is the only doctor that her and her family will use for these procedures. I'm so happy I chose him to do my augmentation and I have now referred about 4 friends and family members of mine to him and he has not made me regret it. :)

64 years of age removal of saline implants breast reduction, lift and new implants replaced. Very successful the results were amazing. I am very pleased the whole procedure was professional executed, I had very little pain and the healing time is quite fast. 64 years old, breast atrophy (where did they go??). He gave me a half-facelift (bottom), surgery on both upper and lower eyelids, neck lift and two new gel boobies (180 cc) . When I awoke in my room, he was holding my hand and I was covered with gauze like a mummy. He pre-ordered pain injections and my care was excellent, from both the doctor and the nurses. He followed me later and even gave me fat injections taken from my stomach. He also used a blood centrifuge machine and gave me injections from my own blood.
