I am on my journey. After years of thinking about it and failed exercise routines, I am going for the BBL with Dr. Rafael Baez in Santiago. His work is absolutely amazing and I don’t think I would like anyone else. He was able to provide pictures of the men he was worked on and no other doctor was able to do that. I am 6’2 and 31 years old. I’ve had a great first 31 years of life , let’s make this next 31 incredible.

I am 7 days post op today (BBL, lipo, breastlift) & over all I am seeing great results, my surgery was successful with no complications & I am very thankful, I am also really happy with Dr. Baez who was a very straight forward doctor when consulting me he showed me what my body will look like and explained the risks if any. & I am starting to see the results I wanted as my inflammation is coming down

Tummy tuck with Dr Biaz in Santiago Ginas recovery house. Both were great I am impressed with Gina's recovery house, it's upscale very nice, great food, they treat you like family and go above and beyond your expectations. Dont bring anything but your clothes no bandages foam boards just your toiletries and clothes. Gina is a nurse and masseuse she has it all... Enjoy a little piece of paradise while you recover... My motivation was getting back to what i used to look like. As the years went on my body changed and I used this surgery as a catalyst for a renewed loved for the gym. Dr Baez is awesome you will not be disappointed. His staff (bless their heart) will try their best to assist you and will go above and beyond in-spite of English being their second language so be patient. but my over all experience could not have been better

Front office was great! Outcome of the BBL and lipo exceeded my expectations: loving it, Dr. has a skillful eye as a sculptor, the reason why I chose him, based on IG pics and cost. Cons: Nickel and dimed at every corner. Post surgery, in bed, I was told I had to get my own dressings from the drug store at the entrance of the hospital. Thats just one example of many. Here comes the really bad. On one (8 of 10) of my last lymphatic massages (in office, on a Friday) while in the room, Dr. came in for what was the last post procedural check up and in this case the first by him since the surgery. After the evaluation he went to leave only to turn around to say "oh, by the way, you have a hernia". It wasn't until I got home that I inquired what kind of hernia which his asst. Dr. told me it was an umbilical hernia. I didn't notice anything unusual at first when not wearing the compression garment to bathe and whatnot. It was 4 months post procedure (not having to wear the compression anymore) where I felt this pop in the umbilical area as I was sitting in my car and turning to the left to grab the seat belt. Apparently, material from within popped through the herniation. When discussing this with the asst. Dr. he said I had shown up with the hernia. It is my belief that during the fat harvesting the Dr. punctured the abdominal wall creating a tunnel, that with enough pressure, gave a way for the internal material to pop out. 3 months pre procedure I had an appt. with a plastic surgeon and in his notes, if he were to do lipo, he specifically mentions that I did not have an inguinal nor umbilical hernia. Yet 3 months later, I arrived at Dr. Baezs office, post surgery, was told I had an umbilical hernia. I have all medical records to back up what I've said. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. I know stuff happens but be honest. 26k to fix the hernia.. thank God for insurance.

Dr. Baez is arrogant and his team is unorganized and has a habit of lying. First thing they are not doing surgeries from HOMS they are doing surgeries from a clinic. I spoke to 6 other patients and they were blindsided by this detail. I asked where will the surgery be performed to two different members of his staff. They both lied and said it would be done at HOMS, even the day prior to my consultation. The next problem is that he changes your surgery date without telling you in advance. When you arrive he has about $2,000 worth of things that are not included in the original price. $1,000 for vaser, $500 for eaxh blood transfusion, $300 for mandatory shots, $300 for insurance. The cost of the anesthesia is also a separate cost. You have to pay about $200 for the blood work/ urine test. The people that said he nickels and dimes you are 100% correct. He is a great surgeon but I spoke with someone who was upsold up to $20,000. She could of just done the surgery in the US. Also two of the woman I spoke with had an infection on their stitches one had her stitches open up about 6 inches and needed 3 anesthesia shots to stitch her back up. I normally do not write bad reviews, I prefer not to review. However, I don't want anyone to die or be lied to by Dr. Baez and his team. LOOK FOR A SURGEON THAT IS CERTIFIED BY THE AMERICAN BOARD OF PLASTIC SURGEONS. STAY AWAY!!! & ask about all the cost associated with the surgery, what is included. What isn't included and how much does it cost.

So, I decide to have a mommy make over. Im getting bbl, tt, and. I done a lot of research and decide to go to the Dominican Republic. The surgeon I pick is Dr. Baez Fernandez. I decide to go to the Dominican Rep because of the type of work they do there not so much because of cost. I feel American surgeon dont give you curve or definition. I will be staying at a Airbnb because I need AC in my life. A family member will be coming with me. After many research it is a cheaper approach than a recovery house. Also, Im dominican so feel perfectly at home. My surgery is set for July 2018 and I have to arrive 3 days prior to the surgery. I pay a deposit of 200 to hold the date. Pre surgery: Iron level at least 13. I just want to be on the safe side. Taking multi vitamin

"So far Dr. Rafael Baez is getting 5 stars! I traveled to DR March of 2917 for my sisters BBL with Dr.Mallol, let’s just say that whole thing was a mess. I vowed to my self that I’ll take precautions for my round. I came across Baez and fellllll in love with the way he gives his clients CURVES! I’m still thinking about it! I received a quote for a total about $5,000 and that’s me rounding up with medication, transfusions if I need it, etc. He is responsive and very handsome :), and I feel like he can deliver! But let’s wait and see!!"

It is Saturday December 9th, 2017 and I just put my deposit down for my Liposuction BBL and Breast augmentation for April 1st, 2018 with Dr. Baez. I chose him because of the demeanor and layout of the emails, and if u see his work!! Uff, PERFECTION I am a mother of three with my oldest being 13 and my youngest just 9 months and decided to finally, after all these years of wanting this surgery to take the initiative and do something for myself. I will post pre/post op photos when the time is right, as for now I’m just taking my vitamins, drinking my green and red juices and buying my items for my trip.. CANT WAIT!! AMAZING Updated on 17 Dec 2017: After placing my deposit and speaking to one Dr Baez assistant, she told me I was not able to go on the 1st because it was booked.. So we decided surgery date to be on March 22nd. I will arrive in Santiago Dominican Republic on the 20th because Dr Baez requires you to be in the Dominican Republic for at least 2 days for health reasons. I started taking the iron pills, folic acid, and vitamin c. I asked his assistant what is the biggest implant I can go and she said he will tell me when we meet in person. The implant he uses are Gummy Bear implants btw. After Christmas I will buy all the things necessary for my trip. Still haven’t decided which recovery house I will stay at (only 3-4 days) but I guess I will figure it out when the time gets closer.. Paid my $150 insurance last week, and as of today I have 66 DAYS TO GO!! I ordered the 3 day Blueprint OG juice cleanse and started that today (Friday) and am starting a meal prep delivery service Monday.. I plan to loose at least 20 lbs before surgery so my arms won’t look so fat.. lol Hope everyone is doing good!! ?? Updated on 16 Jan 2018: So I bought my flight during the weekend and [RS bleep] JUST GOT REAL! Lol In total my flight ended up being $660 because I booked first class otw back, which I suggest anyone to do.. I arrive in DR at 10:53pm March 20th.. My surgery will be on the 22nd and I leave DR April 2nd.. Super EXCITED!! I can’t believe this is happening been waiting for this for so many years!! ?? Updated on 14 Feb 2018: I am now 4 weeks away from my surgery.. I wanted to let you girls know that I did a lot of research and bought some of the cheapest but best things I will need for my surgery.. I bout a recovery box that includes all the post op care supplies I will need. The website I bought it from was Diamondcareandrecovery.com.. I am pleased with the recovery box tho I feel like I may need more.. Also I bought 10 maxi dresses from boohoo.com for about $7-$8 each.. If you wanna search the dress it’s called the “Sandy” maxi dress.. I know a lot of girls are already headed to do their surgery, I wish u all good look and a speedy recovery!! Updated on 23 Mar 2018: Hey ladies... I traveled to the Dominican Republic, only to not do the surgery because a lot of communication problems on Dr Baez, his assistant Evelise, and SurgiCoordinator.. Everything was just a big MESS and a waste of money.. A little sad at the moment but I will give full review when I’m in New York and not feeling so sad...
