I was referred to Dr. Mason by a friend who worked with her early in her career. She was a delightful ray of sunshine when I first met her who makes me feel like I am part of her "family" to this day. I was approaching 50-years-young and I wanted my breasts done so in June of 2022 I scheduled my procedure. Dr. Mason and her staff led the way and gave me assurance and support up to, including and after my procedure. After losing over 50 lbs. the next year, I was left with saggy skin and decided I wanted to have it removed and enhance my already "curvy" body shape and let me tell you, WHOOOOOOA!!! I am exceptionally motivated to live an "all over" healthy lifestyle to maintain my weight and BAWDYAWDYAWDY and feel I am the most ever fabulous version of myself now! My last procedure with Dr. Mason was a labiaplasty and although a personal procedure, I want other women to know just how important loving their bodies is and I want to encourage others through my testimony and experience with Dr. Mason. She is helping me show the world that #RealWomen with #RealBodies make the #RealDifference one procedure at a time!!!
Dr. Mason is amazing!!! Tummy tuck with liposuction. Bedside manner and her kind heart. Her staff is amazing, you get a cute post op box. And the lymphatic massages everyday don't get me started. Best board certified female surgeon in Las Vegas
Excellent question! At this point, the research shows that if the capsule looks nice and thin and normal, there is no reason to have to remove it. There is some thought that there could be a "biofilm" which means some bacteria, but no real evidence that this makes any long term difference as far as complications. Leaving healthy capsule tends to be the safer procedure.
If you have no sagging and good skin quality, that should be possible! The concern with going smaller is that the breast will look more saggy with the extra stretched out skin. But 25cc is a very small volume change so it should not make that much difference. It is hard to know without seeing you, but it sounds like a second opinion may be reasonable.
A BBL is a great option for you! It will really help your shape and improve your proportions. Liposuction alone would help the love handles, but filling out the buttocks with the fat taken from liposuction will give you a more feminine shape. You do not have to transfer a huge volume to the buttocks. If you want a more natural look, a smaller amount can be transferred.
Most elective surgeries have resumed in the US so you should be able to travel and have surgery. The biggest problem with traveling for a BBL is that you are then unable to sit at all for several weeks (length of time depends on your surgeon), and you can only do limited sitting in a modified fashion for several weeks thereafter, so you would not be able to travel home for an extended period of time.
The answer to this question really depends on your surgeon. Some will have a BMI cutoff, others will look at your overall picture. The issue with a high BMI is you are more likely to have issues healing the wounds from your surgery, and you are at an overall higher risk of complications. But if you are aware of your risks and this is still something you really wish to pursue, it certainly can be done.
