Hello,Yes its possible to carry out a 2nd hair transplant subject to the availability of donor hair. Using magnification, which is how most of us work, it's possible to implant grafts around the existing hair, but if there is not much space around the hairs and your density looks low due to miniaturisation of your pre-existing hair rather than hairless spots, then its best to have non-surgical treatments and give these hairs a chance to respond to medications. Also in young patients (I am not aware of your age), it's best to delay the 2nd hair transplant, just in case your hair loss worsens, so the donor can be used more efficiently, after all we have a limited supply of donor hair, so makes sense to use them carefully. Hello thereIf you tolerated Finasteride well and you had good results, then it is highly likely to work again. Its unlikely to restore back all the hair you lost while you quit therapy as some of it might have completely be lost by now. As long as the hair hasn't completely fallen off, the hair roots are present, there is always a chance they would respond, even if the process of miniaturisation might have advanced. HiMost people would see approximately 40-60% growht by this tme, but again evceryone is different. It is still early days. Growth would depend on number of grafts used as well, without knowing how many grafts have been used, it would be diffiuclt for anyone to comment on the growth.
