I just want to start by saying, I never thought I would be so happy with my body. About 5 years ago, I underwent a breast augmentation and lift when I was 26 because of asymmetry. I'm 6'0 tall, athletic build with a healthy bodyweight, but I've always had uneven breasts and it always bothered me. My first experience was horrendous - the doctor didn't listen to a word I said and I felt like I was in the dark about the whole process, procedure and recovery. Being that it was my first surgery ever, I didn't know what to expect or what to ask for, and I ended up with breasts that were way too big after explicitly telling my doctor I didn't want to be big, just even. After about 4 years of being even more uncomfortable with my breasts then I was before, I decided I was going to look into getting a revision / reduction. My implants weren't old and I didn't want to go through the under-the-muscle pain that I knew would come with another augmentation, so I was really hoping that I could just get a reduction of breast tissue and leave my current implant as is, even though it was still larger than I thought I wanted. I had met with two other doctors before finding Dr. Pham, but both made me feel as if they weren't listening to my desires - which from the past experience was a big red flag. The moment I stepped into Dr. Pham's exam room, I immediately felt comfortable and HEARD. Especially when you're so exposed with a stranger you're meeting for the first time, just poppin' your top off and revealing the thing your most uncomfortable with, it really felt so easy and normal to talk with him about my past experience and what my dream results would be. The professionalism, expertise, and guidance Dr. Pham and his office showed was on another level for me. I had no idea an experience like this could be so enjoyable. After my initial appointment, I sent an email to Dr. Pham with some concerns, questions, and even a few of my inspo pics asking if this was even possible with my current situation and the procedure we talked about. Instead of responding via email, Dr. Pham called me directly to talk about all of the points I had brought up in my message, and that was the first moment in my 5 year journey that I truly felt valued as a patient. Cut to a month later, I'm in the surgical center and the experience just kept getting better. Even the medical staff amazed me as they described EVERYTHING that was going to happen during my surgery. I was given step-by-step instructions on what the nurse was going to be doing, what the anesthesiologist was going to be doing, what all of that would do to me, and again just comparing it to my last experience, I was so taken-aback by how much more comfortable and at ease I was going into the procedure. And to top it all off, when Dr. Pham came in to talk to me beforehand, he said he had PRINTED OUT my inspo pictures to have in the operating room to refer to! I was in tears. My last doctor couldn't care less about the size I wanted, let alone the shape and look. Dr. Pham went so far above and beyond, and I can't thank him enough. 2 months post breast reduction and I still get surprised when I catch an unexpected glimpse of my perfect boobs in the mirror! Living 30 years and always being uncomfortable about something you can't change isn't the best feeling, and after everything I had been through, I honestly didn't have expectations this high. He's a miracle worker! He has a full 5 star rating for a reason because there really isn't any other Dr. that compares. I usually can't be bothered to write reviews, but if this can help anyone that might be in a similar situation take that first step, I know you'll be just as happy you did. Dr. Pham, thank you. You've given me back the confidence I had lost and that's not just a physical gift, it's a psychological and emotional one as well.
I was referred to Dr Pham by a woman on FB in my BII group and couldn’t be happier. I just learned of BII in August bc I saw Danica Patrick’s video about Her myriad of symptoms and how they were resolved by Explant earlier this Spring. I had 225 cc saline, over the muscle Mentor smooth implants which prior to 2020 had never given me an issue for 28.5 years. In lockdown though my R one ruptured and became painful as it formed a capsular contracture. I started getting BII symptoms soon after and not knowing why I was feeling poorly attributed them to a prior illness I was getting over called iatrogenic Cushing’s. However once I saw Danica’s video I knew I needed to Explant ASAP. I also hoped I could have them removed the way Danica’s had been (via the original areola scars) as my implants were on the small side. Dr Pham assured me he could do so and remove everything en block which I requested and also be shown pics and videos afterwards to make sure. He was a compassionate and on the day of surgery proved to be an amazing artist. I am 60 years old and my results have far exceeded my expectations. This is me 18 days post op and I couldn’t be happier.
I wanted a more contoured shape. After 3 kids, all c-sections. Although, I'm still petite It gave me a more boxy shape and cause me to have the c-section pug above the scar. No matter how much I worked out it just would not go away. Luckily, I found Dr. Pham. He was wonderful in explaining the procedure and process. He suggested a skin incision (mini tummy tuck) over the c-section area. He really made me feel at ease and comfortable. I went to other consultations as far as La Jolla but I felt most comfortable and trusted with Dr. Pham. Booking a date and pre-op was so easy because they did everything there in-office. When the day finally came, again, I felt comfortable talking to Dr. Pham and going over my concerns and wish pics. He gave me that reassurance that ever was going to be ok. I'm about 3 weeks post op and I couldn't be happier. My results look amazing! Even the lady that did my lymphatic massage was amazed at how clean my incision looked. Highly recommend! Updated on 17 Sep 2021: I’m still loving my results! I feel great and my incision looks so good. You can tell by the scar that it’s a clean cut and it’s not going to look bad at all. Thanks dr. Pham! Updated on 11 Oct 2021: Not wearing a faja here, but me and my husband are happy so far with the results. Updated on 4 Dec 2021: So 4 months now and I still love the results. I still would like a bit more projection but overall love the natural results that Dr. Pham was able to accomplish. Clothes and bathing suits fit so much better!
Dr. Pham is very knowledgeable and had great recommendations for me which I truly appreciated since I work in the beauty industry. He gave me what I call a non-surgical face lift (until I have the real thing) and it made such a huge difference. I wasn't sure if I wanted a chin implant or not (although all the surgeons I met with recommended it) but Dr. Pham was the only one who suggested he could do some filler in my chin to see if I would like it or not. I loved the idea and we did it ... I absolutely love it! He also put filler under my eyes which made a huge difference. At age 50 I had been getting fillers and Botox for years and he was the first to recommend these two options for me which I loved. Also he is the only Dr. that didn't make my eyes droop from forehead botox. I have a serious problem with that so we discussed it first and he knew exactly what to do. I absolutely love my results! I also had a consultation for a tummy tuck and other procedures and he took A LOT of time with me explaining all my options. I felt like he genuinely cared about my results and I never felt rushed at all. He truly is a caring surgeon. He was referred to me by my trusted dermatologist and he's worth the 1.5 hour drive each way from Orange County where I live. I'm beyond thrilled and excited I found him!!
