He IS top doctor. When I started my research to find the best doctor there were several of them to choose from. But after speaking with all of them I found Dr. Haeck to be the best of the best. His expertise and knowledge was what made me decide to have him do work on me. Dr. Haeck has always been kind and willing to help me with what I needed. Seattle Magazine 2017 rated him as a Top Doctor. This is a fact. Once I had my procedure (remove bags under eyes) everything went flawlessly. He did such a perfect job you would never know I had work done (the sutures were precise) it really shows his experience. I am grateful for Dr Haeck and recommend him highly to everyone. If you are looking for someone to enhance your looks look nowhere else Dr. Haeck is the man.
After a spontaneous appointment with Dr. Haeck, my mother and I decided to submit an insurance request. When it was accepted I was ecstatic and nervous- I'd always thought about getting the procedure but I'd never thought I'd have the opportunity to do it. I decided to go through with it. Dr. Haeck and the nurses were super nice throughout the whole procedure! They answered questions promptly and assured me that I would love the results. When the day of the surgery came I was nervous, but once they had marked my breasts and put in the IV I was out. I also had an epidural, but I don't remember anything after the IV. Next thing I know I'm in the car on the way home with my mom. The next day we went in to get the bandage s taken off and I almost cried I was so happy with my new figure! The doctors speculated that I would be around a C cup after swelling decreased. I could tel right away that I still had nipple sensation. And the pain was manageable with the mess. Currently 2 days post op and I am ecstatic! Happy to answer any questions! Updated on 16 Dec 2016: Feeling good- spent most of the past few days lying on the couch watching old movies. I'm down to half a pain pill every three or so hours (started at 2 pills/4 hours). Tonight I'm going to try to sleep without ambien. Took my first shower today, had to keep my back to the water and needed help with soap but it felt great to finally clean up a bit! I'll upload the before pics soon! Updated on 17 Dec 2016: Here are some before photos to give perspective. As you can see, my right boob was much larger than my left boob. Updated on 22 Dec 2016: Went in today for my 1 week post op meeting meeting. Dr. Haeck said that I was "an outlier" in the sense that the process has gone so smoothly (knock on wood). So I guess that's something to keep in mind when you read my review- I've been experiencing a rather easy recovery. Anyway, the nurse pulled off the glued on tape. To be honest, this was probably the most painful part of the whole process. Once we got that off the doctor spotted that my left drain hole was opened from the tape removal. It was bleeding a bit, so we bandaged it up and got a prescription for a special healing cream. Next, the stitches came out. Nothing too painful here. It's amazing to see the scars for what they are though! The nurse showed me how to properly tape up the scars and I was on my way! Updated on 22 Dec 2016: Thought I'd give a summary of how my first week with the surgery went. The first two days, when I was still on a fair amount of percocet were relatively easy. Aside from not being able to lay on my side and stretch, I was pretty comfortable just sitting around all day. By day 2 I'd started taking less painkillers and was able to do a bit of activity. I went grocery shopping with my mom. It's nice to get out the house! For the next few days, I'd get periods where I'd get super tired out of nowhere for a few hours. Taking frequent naps helped- I think my body was just working hard to heal, plus the weird sleeping position wasn't helping. Finally got off percocet and switched to Tylenol on Sunday. Sunday was rough for me. I spent the entire day with my parents at the car dealership. There weren't many snacks so I was exhausted by the time we finally got dinner. I'd worked up a little headache, so sleep was challenging even with the Ambien. I actually woke up in the middle of night to throw up (something that often happens when I get bad headaches). The throwing up triggered a bloody nose and I got a bit worked up. Once I tied everything back to exhaustion and had a glass of water I felt exponentially better. I went back to sleep after that and felt great! Moral of the story: bring snacks, take rests Now, I've been able to drive and do most tasks without restriction. As long as I keep my arms lower than a 90 degree angle, I'm good. Sometimes turning motions can hurt as the drain holes are really sore. Itching hasn't been too bad, but I'll keep you updated as the scars heal. So far I'm beyond happy with how my boobs look! I'm so glad I went in for that first consultation with Dr. Haeck- I highly recommend his services to anyone in the Seattle area. His entire staff has been a pleasure to work with! They are all so responsive and knowledgeable- it made the insurance claim a breeze. I'll upload some pics tomorrow! Updated on 26 Dec 2016: Yesterday I went through the scary process of taking off the tape on my own. I did it in the shower so the adhesive would loosen up, but it was still a little painful to pull off. Mostly I was just scared that I'd open up a wound, but I think that's mostly in my head. Once I got the tape off I tried my best to get rid of the leftover adhesive. I tried baby oil but it didn't really work, I just ended up scraping off what I could with my fingernails and leaving everything else. Once I was dry, my mom helped me put the prescription wound cream on my scars and put on new tape. It's tricky to put on the tape with the cream, but if you just put on the bra right away and try to stay still for a bit, eventually the tape sticks. It's pretty gnarly to see the scars up close, but I was happy to see that they are definitely healing. I'm sill getting a tiny bit of discharge out of my left scar, closest to the armpit. It's where the bandaid is in the photo. The other bandaid it on my right t-scar, where the doctor recommended applying the scar cream more regularly. I'm off ambien and Percocet now- just Tylenol and melatonin for me! I was pretty sore today, but the itching is the worst! Not much you can do about it other than shift around. Anyway- here are some updated photos! Next time I change the tape I'll take photos of the nipples. Updated on 29 Dec 2016: Things are going pretty well! I've been applying the wound cream regularly and changing the band-aids, but afters a few days I found that my skin was getting irritated and I was really itchy. Took off the band-aids and saw a visible red outline of bumps where the band-aid had been! I wish I had a picture, but you can see a little in one of the photos. Luckily, I already had an appt with the Dr the next day. He said it was a typical adhesive reaction and prescribed me a topical steroid cream which has helped a bunch! I also got to go the day tapeless, which was kind of a weird sensation. He also said I could get back to all normal activity (including exercise!) in two weeks! Anyway, the rash is pretty much gone now. I put my tape on this morning all by myself. It was surprisingly easy- just make sure you have a full body mirror! Also, I can now sleep on my sides pretty comfortably which is a nice change from sleeping on my back. :) The only motion I feel restricted in is reaching my arms up at an angle greater than about 135 degrees. Also- I just wanted to be clear: my doctor has said that my recovery is going extremely well (better than above average were his exact words) so don't be disappointed if it takes you a little longer to heal! I'm on break from university so I haven't had any pressure to over exert myself or get back to work. Dr. Haeck said that my healing is moving very fast (probably just cause I'm on the younger side of patients). From now on I'll probably do updates every week or so unless anything important comes up. Of course, feel free to message me with any questions!! Happy New Year!!
Since grade school I was always the athletic girl with HUGE breast. I have struggled with self esteem issues due to my breasts the majority of my life. Just one week after my breast reduction surgery, I feel like a completely different person, in the most amazing way!! Dr Haeck is simply incredible. His bed side manner is so comforting, reassuring, and fun. His staff is extremely professional and approachable. My breasts are gorgeous... they are perfect! Thank you, Dr Haeck for a life changing surgery!
Dr. Haeck took years off my face! I cannot tell you how happy I am that I had a lower neck lift with Dr. Haeck. He did a beautiful job and my scars are almost non-existent. Dr. Haeck is extremely personable and professional. He listened to all my questions and was patient and thorough. My healing went very well. I had some tightness, which is to be expected, and I healed quickly with no bruising. I followed his instructions to the tee - I feel like that is why I healed so well. Be sure to read all of your handouts that his office gives you - they are very helpful! Definitely will go back to Dr. Haeck in the future!!
I just had a breast revision from Dr. Haeck at the Polyclinic in Seattle. So many things about his practice were hands above what I experienced with my breast augmentation in 2013. He is so calm, such an expert. He has a real anesthesiologist vs. nurses with questionable drugs. It was in a hospital setting devoted to surgery. Most importantly, my husband picked me up and could tell I was in the best of hands. I cannot recommend Dr. Phil Haeck enough and hope everyone considers a procedure gets at minimum a consultation.
After losing almost 60 lbs, I chose surgery to bring the whole package over the goal line. The brow and eye lid adjustments mark the end to achieving my body image goals; however, much, much more than I ever could have expected. Like my previous procedures (lower neck, tummy tuck, and breast augmentation), this final piece brought it all together and I look (and feel) like a million bucks! The relationship of Doctor to Patient is no different than the relationship between Real Estate & Location. I'm very luck to have found the right doctor who brings the right skills and experience to the table.
I've been blessed with three beautiful children...who totally sucked the life out of my already small breasts ;). So recently I decided I wanted to get a little life put back into them! As soon as I met Dr Haeck, I knew he was the doctor I wanted. He made me feel extremely comfortable and is an all-around fantastic guy! His extensive experience and knowledge is impressive. His staff is wonderful! Right after my surgery, I was so surprised at how little swelling and bruising I had. At my one week checkup, the swelling and bruising were literally nonexistent! I'm currently two weeks post-op and feel great! My breasts look so natural and amazing! What an incredible difference! Dr Haeck is hands-down the best plastic surgeon on earth! Don't waist any more time looking around- he's your man!
There are so many reasons we (men and women) choose to change what was delivered to us (that assembly line where we got our belly buttons at the end with the words, "you're done"); each and every one of those reasons are absolutely valid. Dr Phil (Haeck) has a gift that lets him look at each different person and build in his mind exactly what would be best procedure for that person's height, weight, body style, etc. If that wasn't the best ever, he has a way of executing his plan with minimal pain, inconvenience, manageable discomfort (come on -- there has to be a little icky part), and an unbelievably positive outlook for the future. Of course, none of this could happen without the fantastic team that he has supporting him -- some I never even met. Thank you all!
I had been contemplating breast surgery for a couple of years. I had a lift and augmentation for Valentine's day and am still recovering but I am so happy with the results. I wish I had done this sooner. Updated on 29 Mar 2013: I'm doing great. Scars are a little bigger than I thought but I have been taking care of myself and my self confidence is building daily. I am super happy with my decision and I would recommend Dr. Haeck to anyone considering plastic surgery. Updated on 16 Apr 2013: The scars are diminishing and I am back to exercising daily and still 100% happy with my decision and results. Thankyou Dr. Haeck. Updated on 14 Oct 2013:

You will get several different recommendations from my surgoen colleagues here at RealSelf so filter them out carefully. You should consider a sub muscular implant, and either a donut/Benelli lift or even just a crescent ift. Without reducing your areolar tissue however they may stretch out from a larger implant so I would prefer the Benelli. If you will tolerate a little bit of tissue lying under the fold you don't need a very large implant. The higher the volume the more the need to lower your fold, such as in a dual plane pocket formation. But there is nothing you have going on here that will impede a very nice result with several realistic options.
Thanks for this interesting situation. Yes your breast can be higher up on the chest so that when you take off the bra they don't come crashing down. But to get you there with minimal scarring means a lift and an implant. Since you have already declared that you won't consider this consider that removing all the extra skin means you will most likely go down a cup size when all is said and done. Will it last more than a decade? Possibly not. In ten years you might look just like this again but with scars. Implants act as internal splints and would hold your breast up for more than ten years (and you would have fewer scars.) The trade off here is not losing the volume from a lift, a more permanent result, but dealing with an implant (which thousands of women do every year...they ARE safe and effective.)
Thank you for this interesting question. I refuse to promise my patients what cup size they will be after any breast surgery. Manufactureres all vary signifcantly on how they cut a "D" versus a "DD." The best way to discuss this with your plastic surgeon instead is to talk in "CC's" such as 350, 400 etc. When you get ready to make that decsion you should also ask to see moderate and high profile implants. Based on this photo you could choose either in my opinion but most women who are small to begin with are happy with moderate profile implants. Choose your surgeon wisely and talk to several, then sort out what they said. Doing your homework ahead of time might help save you any remorse after the surgery if you didn't get the look you wanted.
Thank you for asking this question since it will give other women who read this page a better understanding of when a lift is needed. Your breasts actually have a good relationship to your body but they lack one thing that most women want. PROJECTION! They have a pleasing shape and are postioned high enough that you do not need the scars associated with a lift. All you need is an implant that is the size of your choice placed strategically to give the shape of your breast more oompf away from the chest. They will be less flat, more curvey and a lot more shapely. What they won't be is bullet shaped missle heads sitting high up on your rib cage. I don't personally like that look although some women aspire to it. If you are seeking that then you do need some lifting to acheive it... You have a lot going for you here so all I would recommend is more fullness that only an implant can give.
This is a point of discussion I go over with all my patients who come to me asking about breast augmentation. There is a small risk you might lose sensitivity on one side. But the risk depends more on the size of the implant than the inicsion or whether the implant is placed above or under the muscle. The anatomy involved with this issue has been researched very well. There are about three nerves that contribute to your feeling in the breast and they come out of the side of your rib cage. They connect to each other several times by the time they reach your nipples. To completely loose all sensation all three have to be damaged. How does that happen? When the surgeon is stretching out the tissues along the rib cage for a large implant these nerves can be stretched or cut. Usually they aren't visible and are very small. The research shows that even women with inframmary incisions can loose sensation if they choose a large implant. And almost all of my patients who choose a peri-areolar incision get all their feeling back. So don't worry about the location of the incision and choose a reasonal sized implant for your frame.
