I had an implant replacement done end of May, I am worried that they are uneven. The first is the week after implants the second is a month after and the one in pink is from about 2 weeks ago. I am just curious if they look uneven or if I am crazy and need to wait? I see doc at the end of Aug. but just curious would t fix them if I get a lift? Just very unsure...
I am a post weight loss patient 43 years old I've lost 157lbs through diet and weight. Carried 4 babies (twins in the middle) and nursed them all into toddlerhood. I was an F cup at my highest weight and now a deflated a cup. 5'9 116 Full tummy tuck with muscle repair (3.5inch diastasis) Keyhole breast loft with mentor high profile smooth, round silicone 400cc implants The whole office staff have been great with my hoards of questions. I haven't had a single bad staff interaction. Dr. Phil is a funny, quirky, laid back kinda doctor. I felt like my case was individualized. He really cares about his patients and i felt more like a daughter than just a random client. I am only 1 week post op at this time and happy so far with the results I am seeing. The one thing i wish the practice in general did better was provide an aftercare handout and have a clearer post op treatment plan AHEAD. I want to clarify that I think they completely know what they are doing. My type A and C personality would love higher organization of information ahead of the game. I had to give a 4 on responsive communication because of 1 single instance. The day of surgery there was a hiccup that evening with the on call line. I couldn't get through. We had a bunch of questions/concerns and I was worried we may end up going into the hospital because we couldnt get through. I really needed the doctors input and eval. We got through things fine because my medical backgrou d and my amazing husband, but i fell through the cracks that day. Doctor was beyond appologetic and handled it with grace. I just wish that hadn't happened. I feel like someone should have called us at home that 1st night and that double checking that the the call service transitioned correctly should be a given daily routine. His stitch work and eye for detail is amazing. I am 100%confident he puts everything he can into his work.
Dr. Lambruschi was my 2nd consult for a breast lift and augmentation. I knew right away I wanted him as my doctor. Very knowledgeable, caring and a sense of humor. After my consult, I scheduled my surgery for the following month. From the scheduling, to pre op, to payment, to surgery and to follow up, everyone was so professional and kind. After 4 children and breastfeeding, I was left with deflated breast. My implants are a smaller size than I was expecting due to having more breast tissuethan expected. However, my breast size is perfect! Because of Dr. Lambruschi's experience, he based my implants on body shape, size and tissue. Thank you Dr. Phil for the new me, I couldn't be any happier!
Dr. Phil did my complete facelift. I was not only amazed at the results, I was thrilled to look 20 years younger. I kept thinking that I would have a lot of pain following the surgery, but I didn't even need any of the pain pills that were prescribed. I followed all the instructions given me and my results are amazing. Trust this amazing Dr., his staff and the results you can achieve! Valley Plastic Surgery Center and Dr. Lambruschi are the best!
Lost over 100 pounds & needed excess skin removed. Very happy with the outcome. He really firmed up the tummy area and got rid of the underarm middle age sag. Feel so much more confident now! His surgery center is top notch. Everyone is very caring and concerned for your comfort, very professional, and you always know you are in good hands. Dr. Lambrushi and his whole team is 5 stars!!!
I never really had any breasts to speak of and it always bothered me. I was worried that the implants would look very fake.. But it turned out fantastic! He did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier! Honestly it turned out better than I could have imagined, and I would definitely recommend Dr Lambrushi!
I decided to do liposuction after a year of working out with a personal trainer and feeling results rather than seeing them. Four years ago I was very fit and athletic, even after having kids. I was a size 8-10 and didn't have any worries. When I was diagnosed 3 years ago with hypothyroidism and also had to have an emergency hysterectomy my body went crazy! The only way that I can explain it, is my body betrayed me in every possible sense. I went from being fit and slender to a size 16-18 without changing any thing in my diet or regime. And let me tell you, trying to keep the west off was a joke. Nothing has worked until I met with my personal trainer and we started targeting my muscle rather than my fat. I have lost inches but no weight on the scale, and it's disheartening every time I look in the mirror. So 2 weeks ago I decided to use the rest of my tax return money and invest in liposuction of my abdominals, flanks, and saddle-bags....all of my trouble areas. Today is the day of my procedure, and I am more nervous about the IV than anything else :-). I've spent countless hours reviewing other stories on real self and thought that putting my story out there might help someone else. I'll add before pics and measurements later on for review :-) Updated on 25 Apr 2014: So after my procedure yesterday, I had a small but painful issue. I didnt get my pain meds filled in a timely manner by Walgreens and ended up spending an hour in some blinding pain in my thighs. Walking around didnt help and neither did laying down. Once the pain meds got to me, it was fine. I walked around a lot last night just to keep my body moving. Set my phone alarm for every 3.5 hours to take my pain meds so that I didn't have a recap of the earlier pain. Seemed to work just fine. Today I was able to go to walmart with my mom to get another compression garment for when take my shower tomorrow. I don't want to wash the one I have on and not have another one on for the time it will take to wash and dry it. So I spent $20 on a garment to hold me over on wash days :-). I make sure and get up and walk around about every 30 minutes or so but I do find that relaxing and shutting my eyes comes very easy to me. Overall, I feel great. I can already see a difference in my thighs and my stomach. When I take my shower tomorrow ill post pictures. Ill apologize right now, I'm not good with taking pictures but I do my best. Updated on 27 Apr 2014: I was able to sleep last night in four hour increments, which was very nice. I woke up this morning feeling very stiff and very swollen. The only way I can describe how I feel is big uncomfortable blisters on my body. They don't burn or hurt, they are just filled with fluid and are bothersome. Fluid moves around and my skin is warm to the touch. In fact, when I touch my skin under the CG it is so smooth...very weird. But the CG is definitely my best friend. I tried to take a shower yesterday but it didnt work out for me. Each time I tried to stand up, my blood pressure went down. So, I put a step stool in the shower and sat on it and washed the parts that were important, lol :-). After I felt a bit better, I took a sponge bath and finished getting cleaned. overall I feel good. It's getting easier to get up out of bed. It will be nice when I get to see more of the results, but from what I could see when I took off the CG, my skin is still very swollen so I don't look so very different. Ill add some more pictures in a week or so when the swelling starts to go down. Updated on 28 Apr 2014: I went to work today. That was interesting. I have a desk job, so all in all it went fine. I hadn't realized how plush my recliner and bed were until I sat on my work chair. I could feel my belly instantly begin to swell. My thighs started to swell too. I got up every 20 minutes or so to walk around and it helped. Only worked a half day, so I'm at home resting :-) I did take some pictures after my successful shower. I think that the difference is becoming more visible. I also tried on a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear in 4 years, and the darn things fit!! I can't wait to see what size I wear when the swelling goes down. Pre-op pant size was 16 5 days post-op pant size 12 Updated on 3 May 2014: This has been an alright week. I've been able to go to work each day and sit at my desk. The only complaint that I had was a burning sensation on my right side above my butt cheek and at my lower back...like the region that would be covered up by underwear . It made it difficult to get up from sitting or if I turned the wrong way, the burning feeling was enough to stop me in my tracks. But it was fleeting and not every time. I went to the doctor for my 1week post-op visit and he took out my stitches. Uncomfortable but bearable. He made them tiny so it took a bit longer to get them out. He said that I am healing very well and the swelling is normal. No seroma!!! I am able to go into a different garment if I choose, but I think ill just stick with the one he gave me and use the one I bought at walmart while I'm washing the other one. I like the idea of being able to click and zip up the garment rather than having to strain trying to get the one piece from walmart on. Because I'm still swollen its a bit painful to get the one piece up...it's painful over my hips...but once it's on I feel great. I'm walking alright. I feel like a stretching sensation upon rising out of bed or even a sitting position but ipi think that's normal. Hopefully it is...I think it's my skins elasticity and if so....totally cool!! I didn't think I had elasticity left. :-) Here's day 8 pictures. I think I'm looking better everyday. At least I hope so. I know I made the right decision and the minimal pain that I felt was nothing worse than a tooth ache.
You have large voluptuous symmetrical breasts. Any procedure you do is going to leave visible possibly cosmetically unattractive scars. If you are happy with the volume of your breasts (H cup!) I would recommend you do nothing, as the resulting scars will be very noticeable and I feel would detract the natural beauty of your breasts. In light of the large volume of your breasts, I would recommend a breast reduction in the future, when you probably start having problems with back, shoulder, neck and postural difficulties due to the weight that needs to be supported by your bra. As long as you are not a smoker, I do not feel that any nipple grafting (taking the nipple off as a skin graft and sewing it back on higher) would be necessary. This also may preserve normal sensation to the nipple and areola as a nipple graft will be permanently numb.
The fat can be removed from your abdomen and you will get a significant improvement for your abdominal contour in clothes. At your weight, your skin probably has been stretched, and will have lost significant elasticity (especially if you had children). This may lead to irregularities in contour post op and even hanging skin. You are exactly right, you will not lose any weight with liposuction, but the removal of 2-4 pounds of fat in your abdomen will give you a significant improvement in your body image if that is the only thing that is bothering you.
Without seeing the pre-operative photos, it appears that the left nipple/areola is congenitally lower than the right. This will contribute dramatically to the feeling of asymmetry, and could be corrected with a unilateral breast lift (skin). At 2 months, I don't think the implants will change dramatically, and only you can tell if there is a significant volume difference with your bra on. With the post op photos shown the left breast appears smaller and the nipple/areola lower. But there is different lighting on each breast, so it is difficult to tell. At 3-4 months, there will be no changes at all, and at that time, you and your surgeon should consider revision surgery (change of implant size or unilateral breast lift) if you are dissatisfied with the results.
Depending on your age and health, the smoking may not affect the results of your breast augmentation at all. However, you should have stopped smoking at least 2 weeks beforehand, and not smoke for 2 weeks after as the nicotine in the cigarette smoke (or on patches or in nicotine gum) reduce the microscopic blood circulation to the areas that are healing. Luckily, the circulation tot he skin is affected minimally by a breast augmentation, although the healing of the incision may be compromised. Stop smoking completely, it hurts every organ system in your body.
Size and shape of breasts is a very individual and personal choice. If you are happy with your volume, a breast lift will give you more youthful appearing appearance (higher areola/nipple position). But that comes with scars that could be quite noticeable.Since I don't like scars on breasts, I would recommend that you first try a breast augmentation, using high profile breast implants, to try to get some lift of breast. Your goal would be to get the volume, shape and size that you want, with the understanding that you may want a secondary operation to do a skin lift, if you are unhappy with the breast augmentation alone. It is difficult to guess what size would be required, as it is a very personal choice for you, and it is something you should talk to your physician about.I would guess that 300-400cc high profile breast implant will give you a voluptuous chest with minimal sag.Good luck with your journey.
