When will I be able to style my hair again? Brush and wash it with out having to be mindful of doing it "gently"? When will I be able to run my electric and when razor over my skin without having to be mindful of my incisions? When will the folding near my ears collapse and even out? When will I be able to exercise and go to the gym? How about swimming, saunas and steam rooms? Updated on 24 Apr 2020: Initially OK. But eventually revealed to be scheming manipulator. 1. Does NOT standby his work - this violates the fundamentals of civilized professaionalism  2. Only will do procedures that can result in multiple revisions.  3. Blames patients for his mistakes  Background. A poor surgeon, who saw his chance to transition from Ear-Nose-Throat (to which he would otherwise be consigned) to Facial Plastics with a lucrative contract offered by the City of San Francisco to help people in dire straits. He'll tell you he does this to help people, but he's all about helping himself. Cosmetic surgery is a very competitive field, most practitioners can't hack it long enough to build a sufficient client base, but thanks to the City he got all the clients he could handle, without having to earn his portfolio through hard, accomplished work the way most plastic surgeons would. Here are the facts,  1. Selected him to perform my FFS (a series of facial plastic surgeries to make someone appear more feminine). One of which is a cheek lift. I requested he use implants, he INSISTED on using fat grafts. I insisted implants because I read stories about the grafts sagging.  2. Requested a pre-surgery head MRI - common practice in FFS procedures in order to properly gauge current skeletal formations. He flat-out REFUSED! See why later. Later (about 2.5 years) got a Panorex x-ray special x-ray that takes 3D image of skull. Turns out he really didn't do as much jaw contouring as could have been done.  3. Another component of the FFS is removal of the bags around the eyes. He operated on them 3 times and they still did not go away.  4. About 3 years after the initial FFS I anonymously (double-blind: as somone who NO FFS what's so ever) sought the opinion of another surgeon to ask what he would recommend for FFS. He said that everything above my eyes was fine, basically saying that there was MUCH work that could be done on my lower face (cheeks included) that could be done. When I explained those areas had already been operated on his face turned white as a sheet. This was later confirmed by the Panorex.  5. Sure enough about 2 years following the initial FFS my cheeks DID sag! there was unevenness which I reported to Knott SEVERAL times only to be minimized or outright dismissed 6. After the 3rd revision to my eyes, the bags were initially gone. And I was happy until about 5 months ago, when I woke up and there they were! when I called and complained it took 3 months for me to get an appointment. for him to give me a smarmy smile saying, "What did you do?!" He actually tried to BLAME me!  7. After the FFS was complete I asked him POINT BLANK, "Is there anything else (surgically) that could be done to make my face more feminine? Regardless of who can provided it." He told me, NO. During my followup (armed my Panorex imaging and 2nd opinion evidence) he not only FINALLY admitted my cheeks were lop-sided, but he was boasting about a technique he learned for stitching jaw tissue to make a face appear more feminine. This technique had been around for sometime. HE LIED to me about there being nothing else he could do!  8. Another component of this FFS was facelift (he used a deep-plane suture) which has STILL NOT healed (after 3 years!!!! There are lines on my un-even face and his only response is to give one of those patronizing "Dr. Hibbert" chuckles and tell me to massage it!!!!  9. When you badger him enough he'll agree fix the problem, approve the revision surgery. Then his goons will call you a week later and cancel the surgery with some concocted insurance problems. The last one he was able to blow off for 13 months! QED - He did everything on the cheap or not at all (but claimed he did!). He INTENTIONALLY disregarded my requests and used a cheek modification procedure that would guarantee him many subsequent revisions that he can bill for! Regardless of the money! This person has STOLEN YEARS OF MY LIFE! Something that should have taken a few months - has dragged out FOR YEARS! Even if the bogus insurance issues were on the level, he refused to do the honorable thing and fix it first then follow-up with the insurance!!! I can't live, I can't date, I can't perform (I'm an entertainer).
