My eye lid surgery took place last year 2/2017. I was born with ptosis on my left eye. With make up it wasn’t as noticeable; however over time as I aged, stress, working long hours, my eyes were more tired & my left lid was drooping more than normal. So I found Dr. Troung here on RealSelf. My procedures took nearly 2 hrs on local anesthesia. I went home w/ Tylenol extra strength which was able to help with my pain. I refused to take any prescribed pain meds, so otc did the job. The first 2 days my pain level was a 6 out of 10. By the 3rd day, I barely took any pain meds & on the 6 th day I went back to work w/ stitches still on. Updated on 8 Jun 2018: It’s over a year from my upper & lower eyelid surgery and it was definitely worth it! However, I wouldn’t want to do it again. 2 hrs on local anesthesia wearing off & my surgery was still in progress, I did experience heavy discomfort! My motivation on the surgery table was to keep calm & power through the pain even though I received another injection to numb the area.... I kept thinking of the potential outcome of my new symmetrical eyelids that had made me so insecure my whole life. Pretty much my lids are symmetric & my eye bags aren’t as heavy & noticeable as it used to be. I’m happy with my decision to do this surgery! No regrets!

I give the Dr. Truong the highest review. I was unhappy with my chin. I wanted it to be longer, more projected, and squarer because mine was recessed. I went to several other Cosmetic Surgeons who simply didn't give me many options. I contacted Dr. Truong via email because I live in the Midwest. He offered to customize an implant that would fit my desires, and that is exactly what he did. He explained the procedure to me, gave me a complete list of what I needed to buy prior to the surgery and what I what I needed for the recovery process. I am very Happy with the outcome. I feel much more confident about my chin, and I although I didnt share that I had the surgery, I have received many compliments of me looking different and better.

I had a lower face and neck lift from Dr. Truong two years ago in 2015 and he did a fabulous job! I came back this year for an upper and lower eyelid lift. I couldn’t stand looking at that newly retired old lady looking back at me in the mirror every morning with humongous puffy bags under both eyes and drooping upper lids. The initial appointment was quick and easy due to the friendly and professional staff. Dr. Truong was very patient and explained everything thoroughly. He also always asks if you have any further questions. The procedure itself was pretty much painless although it was weird to be awake for it. The recovery process was easy and prescription pain pills took care of any pain. It has been a month since my procedure and my before and after pictures are amazing! I have always had a positive experience with this office and felt like I was in good hands.

Dr. Truong is top notch and I am more than ecstatic with the results he has provided. He knows exactly what you are looking for and he will meet beyond your expectations. His staff is also amazing and welcoming. I would highly recommend to anyone around the area.

Wanted a squarer more masculine chin and a better profile that wasn't convex. I went to Peter Truong in Fresno, CA after meeting with 2 other surgeons. My criteria for a surgeon was that he or she had to have done multiple chin implants on males, the reviews of the chin implants would have to be something that I liked and could see myself treated by the same surgeon, and it had to be with a surgeon that I trusted. Peter Truong checked all of these and a bonus is that his pricing was reasonable. I felt very taken care of during the surgery and felt practically nothing, even though I could hear what was going on they played some of my favorite music to keep me distracted. Immediately after the surgery I looked great only slightly swollen. No one noticed the that I had surgery they just thought I looked better but didn't know why. Went to visit my friend and when I was leaving I asked him if my face looked any different and he wasn't sure then he tried to guess then I told him I got my chin done he was like I thought you looked different I just didn't know how, it looks good, that's how surgery is suppose to be no one should know that you had anything done but you look great and it feels hard, you look great. If I don't tell my friends and family they would have never suspected I had my chin done although they notice that I look better, but never have I gotten a weird look from someone staring at my face to what I've done with my face or any startled reaction or any raised brows. Sometimes they don't even believe me until I show them the scar and if I show them the before photos they really notice the improvement. I looks natural and that's one of the best things about this. Oh and since my face is better proportioned my nose looks like it fits my face better which is a huge bonus! Updated on 8 Jan 2019: a year and 8 months later. The swelling has gone down completely but I think I liked how it looked the first 10 months post op. Maybe that's in my head because the pictures look similar haha. I still love it to this day and would do it over again in a heartbeat.

Growing up I was always very insecure about my flat nose bridge, but I was too fearful of an invasive procedure like a rhinoplasty. After hearing about fillers to enhance and build a nose bridge I knew I had to do my research to find someone locally who I could trust to have this procedure done. Ultimately I knew it was important to chose a surgeon who is board certified and specializes in the face. Being in the medical field myself I had great recommendations from a few colleagues so I knew I was in good hands. With the internet, you come across some horror stories that make you second guess cosmetic fillers but I am so happy I chose to move forward with Dr. Truong. I scheduled a consultation on the phone and asked if it was possible to have the procedure the same day. The office was very accommodating and said no problem! I was scheduled some extra time if I wanted to move forward after my consultation. When I arrived the staff was great! Everyone I encountered was professional and friendly. We went over basic health history and took some before photos. Afterwards I met with Dr. Truong who discussed the pros and cons of different types of fillers that they use. I wanted to enhance and heighten my nose bridge therefore Dr. Truong recommended Radiesse because the results last longer and provide better results for what I was looking for. He asked if I had any questions and we were on our way to a room to have the filler done. His assistant cleaned the area and placed numbing cream on the nose to work it's magic. After everything was numb, Dr. Truong began with the injection. It was pain free and I couldn't feel a thing. My husband was in the room (who is very squeamish with needles BTW) and I couldn't understand his reaction because I did not feel a thing! Dr. Truong checked on me throughout if I was doing okay. About 5 minutes later he was done. I looked in the mirror and was shocked at what a difference it made. It is normal for some swelling to start so I was given ice, post care instructions and was on my way. 0.7 mL in total was used and the remaining was saved for my follow up appointment in case I wanted a touch up during the follow up after the swelling had gone down. Dr. Truong is very conservative which I think it's great because it's better to add if necessary than to take away. When I got home and a few hours had passed the area where the injection was made was still quite swollen and there was a tiny bruise, but after icing off and on for a few more hours the swelling started to diminish. A tiny amount of concealer helped hide the small blemish and there was little to no down time whatsoever, I ended up going about my day as normal. The area was a bit tender to the touch for a few days but as each day passed I was happier and happier with the results. After going in for my follow up I didn't feel any touchup or additional filler was necessary and I must say I am very happy with my results. Dr. Truong informed me Radiesse does begins to break down and I may need a touch up in 6 or 12 months. I would absolutely do this procedure again in a heart beat when the time comes. Overall, I had a great experience in his office and recommend it to anyone that is considering this procedure.

Dr. and staff are awesome. Always professional, answered any questions. Procedure went as scheduled. Out come was exactly what I went in for. Would recommend to friends and family without any hesitation.

I had the Miradry procedure done yesterday around 2:30pm. Beginning to end I was in the office for 2 hours.The numbing of the skin was the worst part. I would not say that it was painful, I would say that there was a pinching and burning sensation that was uncomfortable. It seemed as though it took almost 5 minutes to numb each armpit. After the numbing the Doctor performed the procedure. After the procedure I was given small ice packs to place under my arms. As the night went on the numbness was starting to wear off and the uncomfortable pain was starting to set in. My under arms were swollen and a bit bruised. Sleeping was a bit uncomfortable as I am not a back or tummy sleeper. I sleep on my side. In the morning, the swelling had gotten worse and in areas it wasn't the night before. Parts of my inner arm were now swollen and I am bruised terribly under each armpit. However, not much pain, that may be due to my medicating with Ibuprofen every 4 hrs. My Doctor also prescribed me some anti-inflammatory pills to take over the next 6 days. So far in day 2 there has been no sweating. There are times when I feel that sensation that I typically get in normal situations, but when I touch my underarms there is no sweat. There is also no odor. Other than the swollen, lumpy feeling that I feel under my arms all else appears to be ok. Please also note that I cannot completely place my arms at my sides due to the swelling and lumps. My experience with Dr. Troung was wonderful. I couldn't be more happy with him and my results. First off I want to share my experience. I am a 26 year old young lady that has a problem with under eye bags. I reached out to Dr. troung office by email and I received a email right back stating the office will contact me, sure enough a receptionist called me by the name of Jacqueline. I spoke to in regards to my issue and she immediately suggested a consultant with them doctor. So, on my first day in Dr Troung evaluated my eye bags, he suggested a filler called vobella. So I schedule an appointment to get it done in two weeks. As two weeks passed by it was time to see Dr.Troung and I was nervous and scared. However, the Jacqueline the MA assistant talked to me and calmed me down. Which I loved. The only reason why I was scared was because it was something that was going to be done on my face not that I didn't trust Dr.Troung. After me filling out paperwork and stuff I was ready to be seen by doctor Troung, and he made me feel comfortable and I trusted him, he definitely did an AMAZING job by correcting my under eye bags with the filler vobella. You can see the results immediately. It was better then magic I should say lol. But over all he was a doctor I could trust and everyone needs that. I couldn't be more happier with my results. I will continue to receive fillers from Dr.Troung. He's someone I can trust with my face, and he listened to what I wanted to be done. I will not go anywhere else. I am pleased

I originally went to have injections into my lips (since they (lips) magically disappeared) ~i guess it comes with that "golden age years" LIE! ...lol ...anyway when Dr. Truong told me it was not an option~ we discussed a lip lift on both lips! He was kind enough to squeeze me in and we set a date a week later~ stitches came out in a week and I watched how amazing our body heals itself a lil more every day. Today is exactly 2 weeks and everything is beautiful~ going for more soon ;)) Voila~ you tell me!
