Incredible experience. I was made to feel very welcome from the beginning to the end by the office staff and Dr Levin. He was very open and honest. The final result was subtle and made the world of difference to my appearance. I love the subtle change and finally have eyelids that I can see.
My experience was great getting an eye lift. Dr. Levin explained the process in very understandable terms and provided pictures with realistic results, so that I could make a well informed decision regarding the options available. He and his staff made me feel very comfortable, but more important than the great service provided by the staff, were the results. I look 20 years younger. That is exactly what I wanted.
A Skilled Surgeon who listens, cares and discusses options. I had large ugly eye bags for a long time and I was not happy. Since my excellent Lower Blepharoplasty and Skin Removal Surgery, I look untouched, more like myself, rested and younger Family and Friends say I look great. I couldn't be happier. You won't find a more caring team of professionals.
I had great experience at Dr Levin office very professional great bedside manner very happy with the results . He takes his time explaining the outcome . Know what he doing, and very caring about the result you trying to achieve .
Dr. Levin and team were wonderful to work with. Dr. Levin is super nice, thoughtful and thorough, and wants his patients to understand what the surgery will accomplish and what it won't accomplish. His goal is for the eyelids to look like they did in your 20s, so he asks for photos from when you were younger. His staff, Jen and Cindra, are exceptional as well! Professional, friendly, caring. The procedure itself went very smoothly for me. Pre and post op instructions were clear and I had no problems healing. Within a few weeks the obvious redness and swelling were gone and no one could tell I'd had anything done, other than I looked a whole lot more rested! I would recommend Dr. Levin and team to anyone. My only disappointment is that I sort of wish I had done the lower lids as well... now that the uppers look so great, I can't help but notice the lower lids look saggy!
I have nothing but positive things to report about my experience with Dr. Levin and his staff. With some trepidation, I decided to proceed with a lower blepharoplasty. Dr. Levin took the requisite time to discuss my treatment options and show me past results obtained with other patients. From the treatment scheduling to the financials, everything was organized and on point. But most of all, the results speak for themselves. Highly recommended!
5-star experience with Dr. Levin & wonderful staff! Everyone in the office was so professional, warm, caring and knowledgable. From the consultation, to the surgery (at his office OR), to the post-op care & visits, Dr, Levin and his staff really made me feel so comfortable and cared for. I really appreciated Dr. Levin's expertise with this procedure, particularly dealing with the more challenging "Asian eyes." He showed me his photo books of different Asian ethnicities (Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese etc) that he had done, as we all have different eye shapes. He also addresses other issues before he considers surgery, such as "dry eyes," which I didn't even know that I had. I have had other consults for blepharoplasty with other facial plastic surgeons and they did not address other eye issues. I tell others that Dr. Levin is an oculoplastic surgeon and if they are considering having blephs or other oculoplastic procedures, they should see one who specializes in such procedures. People have marveled at my "natural" and great results, and I always refer them to Dr. Levin.
Dr Levin and team are outstanding. I've been going to him for over 25 years, at first for removing fat under my eyes and now for botox and fillers. I initially was recommended to him as an eye specialist because I have large eyes and another plastic surgeon said it could be a little tricky. Dr Levin did a beautiful job - very natural. I trust him completely and whatever I am interested in, he listens well and gives me options. Also, once he fixed a scar I had from a dermatologist removing a pre cancer spot on my face. I was left with a dent in my face and Dr Levin's masterful work made it go away. I highly recommend Dr. Levin.
I highly recommend Dr. Levin and his office. The office is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Levin is very honest and sincere when discussing options. He did a great job; I am very happy with my results.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Levin. He treated me for undereye bags. He was very thorough in explaining all of my options ( fat repositioning, vs. fat removal, recovery time, expected results). The surgery turned out great. I no longer look like I need a nap all the time. He is an extremely skilled surgeon and a very kind person. I have complete confidence in Dr. Levin and would not hesitate to recommend him.
This is a very common question, and a few years ago my staff did a small, unpublished office study to try to answer this question. To minimize bruising and swelling, we work with our patients to be certain that they have they have stopped medications that may affect bleeding such as aspirin and ibuprofen 10 days before surgery. We ask patients to stop supplementary fish oil and even red wine as well. We make certain that patient have normal blood pressure—even if they require treatment of high blood pressure before surgery. We pay careful attention to potential bleeding during surgery, often using a laser and bipolar cauterization to seal any visible bleeding. After surgery, patients are advised to elevate their head and use iced compresses (or bags of frozen peas) to the eyes for the first 48 hrs. We studied our patients who had lower blepharoplasty which seems to cause more swelling and bruising than does upper blepharoplasty. For patients who had lower eyelid transconjunctival fat subtraction blepharoplasty (removal of fat from the inside of the eyelid—without a skin incision), almost all our patients felt that they could drive safety within 3 days of surgery. All of our patients indicated that they were “suitably recovered to return to work with glasses or makeup” by 10 days after surgery. One patient indicated that makeup or glasses was required for 6 weeks after surgery—although all the others had stopped using concealing glasses/cover-up makeup by end of the second week. For our patients with the more complicated repositioning of lower eyelid fat (also through the inside of the eyelid), all patients felt that they could drive safely within one week. All patients felt that they could return to work with glasses or makeup within 10 days. By 4 weeks, no patient felt that glasses or cover-up make up were required to hide evidence of surgery. I hope that this is helpful.
