I did a lot of research of microneedling and doctors before choosing Dr. Pete and Vivace to combat hyperpigmentation and light lines (mid 30s olive skin). I just had first of 3 planned treatments of face. Dr. Pete is not only an incredibly intelligent and very AFFABLE person - as a provider of treatment he is top-notice because of this: he explains each step of the "experience" before it happens AND why. So you are never left hanging in the dark wondering what is happening to your face nor are you wondering if he is competent. Rarely do providers take the time to explain things to the patient, which is disrespectful IMO. For vivace (and perhaps other systems) there are options to choose megahertz of RF energy and depth of needle - so it is important to have a provider with knowledge and experience of how those input variables work. He explained why he choose the settings he did. I will need the full three treatments and about 6 months of time to see the full results - so I can not yet speak to that, but the experience was great thus far. Also, the office is open beyond regular business hours, so if you hold a job, this is quite convenient.
Dr. Pete and Chelsea are an amazing team! I’ve had lip filler with Chelsea and she is extremely knowledgeable! She explains everything in detail before the filler is injected, and also answers any questions/concerns you have! She’s also amazingly talented! I’m very happy with the results and would recommend her to anyone interested in fillers/Botox! I had 2 picosure laser skin treatments (so far) with Dr. Pete! He is amazing as well! I had specific skin concerns, and he addressed each of them, and recommended treatments that he felt would help. He was very thorough in explaining each treatment, and he answered all of my questions! I’m very happy with the results so far. This is a great establishment with very honest, talented medical professionals! I’m happy I found them!
SculpSure is ideal for removing submental fat. Your provider can use a sizing card before the treatment to show you exactly where the fat will be removed. The 25-minute procedure itself is hot and uncomfortable, but very tolerable. Our patients are very satisfied, and about 50% get their results with one treatment and the other half with two. There may be a sensation of a mild sunburn afterwards, but that is a negligible concern. Otherwise, there is no pain or swelling like expected with Kybella. The number of treatments and cost is significantly lower too. We ask that you come in well-hydrated, and drink lots of water afterwards too. Massaging the neck to assist with lymphatic drainage is also helpful. We also recommend combining the treatment with the application of radiofrequency-assisted massage once or twice weekly, but that is not essential for results. We use Indiba Deep Care Elite NS for the RF massage. Good luck with the pathway you choose!
While Vivace's microneedle tips are durable and able to withstand large areas in one setting, NO disposable needle(s) should be used on more than one setting - not Vivace's tips nor any other disposable tip.
Medications, vitamins, and other supplements should always be reviewed with your health care provider and your aesthetics specialist beforehand. Fish oil and vitamin E are often stopped before surgical procedures to minimize the risk of bleeding. It is not as critical to hold these supplements before noninvasive procedures. There may be an increased risk of bruising or pigmentation changes after laser procedures, but lower daily doses of vitamin E (200-400 IU) are probably save to continue.
