I wouldn't necessary chew on any wax if you're not quite sure what they told you.  The typical wax is to be used in areas that are uncomfortable and has irritation.  The powerchain helps close spaces so it's possible that the teeth will come together closer on the top and the wire might stick out a little in the back.  If that's the case, they may have been warning you ahead of time to use wax in that area if it did start to poke you.

Hi, with minor relapse like yours a spring retainer could possibly do the trick.  With spring aligners the direction of the force can be a little unpredictable so very short terms braces or a short term Invisalign sequence should get you the results you want.  I'd recommend scheduling a consultation with an orthodontist for them to evaluate to give you the best options.

What should I do with my teeth? (Photo)

Unfortunately a case like yours isn't always easy.  Usually it requires multiple specialist toe assess which permanent teeth you are missing, how long the roots are on the baby teeth and a number of other factors.  Find a good orthodontist or general dentist in your area that can help facilitate your treatment plan and get you started on your goals.

Hi!

I think what you're referring to is what we call a cant of your occlusion.  It is something that is difficult to correct.  Your case is particularly mild but if you were definitely set on correcting it, my recommendation would be to find an orthodontist that utilizes TAD's or mini screws to "push the right side up".  This in addition to braces can help adjust for the canted occlusion.  You will likely need rubber bands or elastics also to keep your bite together as you push the right side up.

Hi Ann,

Typically a space of that size can be closed within 6-12 months with Invisalign or braces.  You are absolutely correct about concerns of bite changes that could occur.  The gap is likely there for a a reason and just closing the space might not be the most stable result.  Often, a front gap appears as a result of your bite or possibly a discrepancy in size of your top front teeth versus your bottom front teeth.  It looks like in your photos that the two side front teeth (lateral incisors) are smaller than normal so it might be best to close the front two teeth together and leave some space on the side teeth for some esthetic dental bonding or veneers.  An alternative would be to close the spaces on top and make your lower teeth a little bit more narrow through what we call interproximal reduction.  Just think of it as filing in between your teeth.
