I got Botox from her for my crows feet. Wow. She is so personable and thorough and sweet, and pretty too! I just liked everything about her. I will recommend her to my local NOLA friends. I will go back to her again too. She likes to see you again too, with a follow-up, what does that tell you? I just really enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommended!
Dr. Treece is an amazing doctor. Her staff are friendly, polite and amazing to work with. I'm so glad I was refereed to her. Dr Treece did an amazing job and I'm so happy with my results. She also did botox for me and the results of that have been amazing!
I have been a patient of Dr. Treece for almost a year. I was most impressed with the fact that she insists on follow up visits. My previous doctor literally just injected and sent you on your way; leaving me very dissatisfied on more than 1 occasion. Dr. Treece is an artist, using my face as a canvas. She never upsells, and always makes sure her patients are not just satisfied, but HAPPY with what she does! She is such a joy to see, and the drive I make to see her is well worth it! I have never been happier with a doctor! Her staff is incredible; always happy to see you and ready to help in any way. They don't just care for you as a patient, but as a person. I could write a small novel on the way I am treated and the TOTAL satisfaction with being a patient, but I highly recommend you make that appointment and see for yourself!
Dr. Treece has always treated me with first class care! Anytime I need to see her for a problem or a follow up, she NEVER rushes me to discuss my concerns. She is always prepared for my visit and has an uncanny way of knowing the answers to the questions I haven’t ask her yet. We have a wonderful patient / Doctor relationship! Dr. Treece has gotten me through some really difficult surgeries and some very dark days! With positive feedback and her always willing to take a call from me if I’m ever scared of an unknown situation! She never disappoints me no matter what it is! Her due diligence has saved me multiple times!
I needed a procedure on my bottom lip, a vein was bleeding inside my bottom lip. I was afraid when she told me what needed to be done, I thought this is going to be painful. Dr. Treece put me at ease and guess what ? No pain! Dr. Treece is also outstanding with fillers. I have had other procedures done and would highly recommend Dr. Penelope Treece! P.S. Her office is beautiful.
I have been going to Dr.Treece for several years now. She removed a mole from my face and I was impressed by how professional she was and how much she made me feel comfortable. Her staff and assistant were also very friendly. When I decided to try Botox for the first time, I chose to go to Dr. Treece and just continued going to her. Her office is beautiful, too. She is an artist and her beautiful artwork is everywhere. It's refreshing to go to a doctor who takes the time to listen, and then remembers you when you return. If I ever save up enough to have a breast lift, she will be my surgeon of choice.
I have been wanting to do something to get ready for my high school reniunon so I decided to look into surgery - when I saw the procedure and down time I knew it was not for me . Cool sculpting was such a great alternative and I got great results . I no longer have the top flow over my jeans and feel better in my clothes - very impreassed. I am doing my chest next week
Of coarse, I loved my Botox injections. I could go months without migraines, this was great and addictive. I've had the same Cosmetic Surgeon giving me Botox for 9yrs every 6mos. Mostly good results. Every now and then we'd miss a spot even though she targets the same spots every time. Definitely not her fault. It was prob different reactions every now and then. But I have gotten Botox from a neurologist and 2 different Cosmetic Surgeons and it was the same. Mostly good and sometimes not. Sometimes I get migraines for a couple of days after and a couple of times I was violently ill as you would be with food poisoning. Only lasted a day, though. 2 years ago my hair started falling out by the handfuls. My hairline is about an inch further back. Went to 4 different Drs.(2 General Prac. including the medical dept at work, Gynecologist, and a Hair Restoration Dermatologist) for every test under the sun. I stopped the Botox, against every one of those Drs. recommendation, They kept saying that it was absolutely NOT the Botox. Well it stopped falling out. Now I just hope it grows back. I'm starting to see shoots of new hair so I'm hopeful. I went through misery and embarrassment for 2 years and was sure it wasn't the Botox because it never happened before, but I decided I'd rather have headaches and hair.
I am 33 years old and have lines starting to develop around my nasolabial folds ("smile lines"). I have been concerned about them for about a year, and have even had a consultation with Dr. Mary Lupo while getting Botox at her office. However, because of the cost, I decided to wait. Then a couple of months ago, I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal at Southern Aesthetics, the med-clinic owned by Dr. Treece. The technician who did the laser hair removal was experienced and I had a great experience, so I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Treece for the Juvederm. I was immediately comforted by her warm bedside manner and the warm manner of the nurses and secretaries in her office. Dr. Treece explained everything in full detail, and took her time while she injected my nasolabial folds. I immediately saw a difference in my folds and I was delighted with the reaction. I love Juvederm! I am on day 3 and there is a small amount of bruising and some tiny bumps where the needle was injected, but I assume this is going to go away. I am just delighted by the transformation, even though I don't think it is noticable to my family. I notice the difference! I will definitely use Dr. Treece again and I think she is experienced with injecting filler in the facial area.
i got my BA to fix a big asymmetry problem. right breast was over a cup size bigger, mainly at the bottom and hung lower due to the weight difference. i asked my surgeon if i should get a reduction first on the right side and then proceed w/ same size implants and she assured me that this wasnt necessary to fix the asymmetry. i ended up w/ smooth saline implants, 400cc high profile's on the left and 280cc high on the right.i am 4wks post op and still feel like the right is fuller, especially at the bottom where is was already fuller to begin with. it sags more and always has a little.and the bottom part of my left breast never seemed to develop . the top of both breasts looks pretty even and it is an improvement as i do not have to wear a pad on one side anymore. but i feel like i paid $4500 for breasts that still dont look the same size. was this the right decision to make to fix the problem? she said i might want a lift on the right to make them more even, but how can they look even when one will have a ton of scars on it!? what can i do now if after a year they still look uneven? help!i don't want to get a lift, she said we could do a little laser lipo at the bottom of the right fuller breast to fix it. but i don't know if i trust her decisions anymore. i really felt confident that she was going to make them look and feel like the same size. she keeps assuring me that when they drop they will look more even, but i'm really beginning to wonder.
Yes, blindness can occur after filler injection and yes the blindness, although rare, may not occur immediately in the peri-procedure period. All the possible complications should have been, by law, listed on your consent. Yes, they should have also verbally expressed all the possible complications, but I find patients usually do not read everything. Bruising and swelling are common after injections but blindness is very rare, but if you are concerned call the physician IMMEDIATELY. If they are not available, go to the emergency room. My advice for your future: READ everything you sign, ask the doctor questions (not google), and most importantly, go to a physician who is experienced. This chosen physician should be well trained in facial anatomy AND injection technique. I was a resident once, and everyone has to learn, but the first lesson in patient care is communication! Beware of "cheap" deals. People have no idea how serious the complications can be from seemingly simple procedures. It can happen with an experienced and well trained doctor, but it is way less likely. Good luck! Penelope Treece
CoolScupting or CoolMini, specifically, can be used to reduce fat under the chin and help define your jawline. This will give your face an overall "thinner" appearance. For the Cool procedure to work, the fatty area must be "suck up" into the hand piece. Unless you have a small very specific area of fat on your face, CoolMini could result in an "indented" area. You really need to be seen and assessed. Make sure you see someone very experienced with the procedure as your concern is not something commonly treated with CoolSculpting. Good Luck! Hi, it is difficult to tell is the scar is raised but it is definitely hyperpigmented (darkened). I would be interested to know how old the scar is. Regardless, starting a HQ and retin A compounded cream and having a series of Microneedling procedures (the DEEP kind from a physician office that requires prescription numbing cream, not the superficial "spa" procedure) will improve this scar. It will be a process and not a one and done, over-night cure. There are many lasers that address scars, but laser involve heat which can make the pigment worse. Hope this helps, Penelope Treece, MD
Hi, First of all, you are absolutely beautiful! But if you do want to do a little something, I think a little filler in your upper lip will balance out nicely. Hope this helps, Penelope Treece, MD
Hi Natalie, The laser "sees" the dark hair root to target that area and "kill" the hair root. However, if there are other dark spots (tan, moles, melasma) in the area treated, the laser will "see" and target these as well. This appears to be what is going on with you and they will likely be fine. You must let your treating physician know about this! There are some therapies they may want to institute to speed healing or prevent hyper-pigmentation. Hope this helps, Penelope C Treece, MD
