I apologize for the oddness of the pix. if any of them are too much either tell me to take them down or feel free to do them yourself. I am 3 yrs post opp on my gastric bypass. I lost 122 lbs. I had a full tummy tuck and removal of the extra skin on my thighs. I don't know what all to say I guess I'm looking for feedback to see if its ok or if they are healing right. maybe when I feel more comfortable talking about it I will post again. I don't know . Updated on 10 Jun 2014: Healing well on my tummy but infection for the 2nd time in my legs. I have gone back 3 times for stitches to be out. Ended up taking them out myself. Updated on 28 Jun 2014: I'm not sure if its normal or not but I have gained weight these past weeks. I am back to 141. What I was a week before the tt. My doctor has to do another surgery because he fid not remove all the extra skin. He plans . To do it after my 12 week appointment. Not too happy about having to do it again. I also had my thighs done at tbe same time and he has to fix that too. They came out completely wrong and more messed up then when I went in. I actually just pulled out another stitch from my belly button that was accidentally left in. My thighs are still not completely healed. I'm worried. My measurements are the same as when I had the surgery and I still don't feel any tightness. Updated on 23 Jul 2014: So Monday was my 12 week appointment and 30 minutes before said appointment they call me and cancelled. This was the appointment that he was supposed to check my healing and schedule my 2nd surgery to fix what he messed up. I asked the nurse that called when he would be able to see me bc my surgery was supposed to be next week. He wont be able to see me for 2-3times weeks bc he's going on vacation and he doesn't know anything about a 2nd surgery bc he has to see if my insurance will pay him to do it all over again. How is this possible? This can't be right? He messed up the 1st surgery and did not remove all the skin. I don't see how my insurance would pay him to fix what he messed up especially since I paid for it out of pocket. I do NOT recommend this doctor! I very much feel cheated! Updated on 4 Aug 2014: My doctor had his nurse call me to tell me he will not be fixing this. Updated on 29 Sep 2014: I am almost 5months post opp and honestly I am just so disappointed and depressed. There is a difference yes but the whole point of doing this was to get rid of the flabby saggy skin. I most definitely do still have that. So upsetting. Does anyone have the same issue or advice. Crying doesn't seem to be helping. I haven't lost any weight since the day of surgery which really weight isn't my concern. More upset that he was suppose to remove this skin and I'm the same inches around as I was. I just find that odd. Any suggestions? Its not my diet or exercise routine.
