When I was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago, I was so overwhelmed initially that I didn’t think I would pursue the idea of reconstructive surgery. I just wanted to have a bilateral mastectomy and be done with my boobs (which weren’t that great to begin with)! My breast surgeon recommended I have a consultation before making a decision, and I was referred to Dr. Paul Pierce. His smiling eyes over his mask (Covid precaution season), his warmth at my first office visit, and the way he approached my diagnosis with a positive perspective of my future, left me feeling less frightened and changed my mind, so I decided to proceed with reconstruction. I can honestly say Dr. Pierce & his staff helped me through a difficult & bewildering time, and became a bright spot for me in the midst of the cancer journey. Dr. Pierce listened well and was available by text or call. I proved to be a difficult case with some complications from postop surgery issues, so Dr. Pierce and I spent plenty of time together. Throughout the process of surgeries and aftercare, Dr. Pierce responded with compassion, humor and honesty. His staff members (especially Sarvin & Colm) were professional and kind and I felt they truly cared about me, my prognosis, my family and my life. I don't know if I can say enough about Dr Pierce and his staff. They are all friendly and helpful. Dr Pierce was always kind and explained all the different options available so that I could make an informed decision. He was helpful in giving me feedback that helped me make the right choice for me, but wasn't pushy or condescending ever. And his staff made me feel like family from the moment I walked in. Dr. Pierce did the reconstruction after my double mastectomy and I could not be more happy with the care I received. His medical assistants went above and beyond to help make my experience the best it could be given the situation I was going through. Dr Paul Pierce and his staff are amazing. I cannot stress how much this procedure helped me…I have ALWAYS had a chubby face despite being well within normal weight/BMI and hated that I could not get rid of my little jowls and chin. He completely changed the shape of my face to a slim, more oval look and I LOVE IT! I went in for a consult with Dr Pierce in August to talk about chin/jawline lipo. The consult was quick and easy - I left with a full understanding of the procedure and a quote - which was very reasonable (2200). I scheduled the surgery a few days later and was able to get in in October at a time that worked with my crazy work travel schedule. The procedure took about an hour and I left feeling good and was back to work after 2 days. He gave me his cell number after the procedure and was extremely responsive to my questions post-op - generally questions like “how long will the swelling last - I know….rookie question. Eleventy billion stars for Dr Pierce and his staff - they are friendly, funny, and ON. IT. Updated on 2 Feb 2022: 3 months post op - scars are gone - swelling gone - looking and feeling great! My face shaped has slimmed and I’m finally happy with my shape. The surgery and recovery were a breeze and Dr Pierce and his phenomenal team took amazing care of me.

Plus I have always felt guilty spending large sums of money on myself, do too much research, and have way too many questions. Once I finally decided it was time for me, the research began.
