The Perfect Pout —I am so happy I went and saw Dr. Paul Proffer for lip filler.

I am so thrilled with my results after my visit with Dr.Paul Proffer, I feel compelled to share my experience so anyone who may be on the fence about this procedure can go ahead and go for it - TODAY! I am typically a very indecisive and worst-case-scenario person, so the idea of any sort of cosmetic procedure on my face made me very anxious. However, after reading up and seeing some amazing results from lip filler, I thought it might be worth a try with a reputable and skilled doctor. Dr.Paul Proffer came HIGHLY recommended and once I walked into the office, it wasn’t hard to see why. All the staff was extremely nice from the front desk, nurses, check out - literally every person was helpful and kind. The office itself is beautiful and luxurious! I filled out a few pieces of paperwork and was almost immediately led back to the procedure room by one of Dr.Paul Proffers nurses, Lana. Lana was so sweet, she settled me into the room, gave me an ice pack to start numbing up my lips, and visited with me while she set up the necessary tools. Shortly there after, Dr.Paul Proffer came into the room with another nurse, Chelsey. He made me feel completely at ease and listened to everything I had to say. I explained to him what I was wanting - which was something natural and subtle, but just...better, if that makes sense! He suggested we use Restalyne as opposed to Juvederm for the look I was wanting. I was worried the shots would be really painful since your mouth can be such a tender area, but after numbing up with ice, and Dr.Paul Proffer's skill with the needle, the pain was completely tolerable. Definitely a pinch, but with deep breaths and closed eyes, it wasn’t near as bad as I had imagined it would be. Lana and Chelsey both remained in the room and made me feel great about the procedure too. After a few minutes I was good to go! The pictures are my before and about an hour after so my lips are still a little swollen. I got the *tiniest* bruise on the corner of my upper lip but you could honestly hardly see it - and it disappeared within a few days. I did notice that for a few days after the procedure, I would wake up in the morning and my lips would look extra plump! But that all evened out by a week out. All this to say - I am so happy I went and saw Dr.Paul Proffer for lip filler. I will absolutley be going back and this next time it won’t have to be something I think twice about!

Plump my Pout

The choice of makeup I like to use, is lipstick. I have full lips naturally, but I wanted a little more plump. I would overline my lips just a smidge, and decided to just try some filler. Very swollen at first, but definitely loving it. Especially after swelling and bruising subsided. I didn't think I would get this done ever again, but I think I will. This should last me a year to a year and a half.
