I had rough month and was looking a bit tired and had hallows under my eyes. The doctor played into my insecurities telling me she couldn’t fix this by a little bit of filler. The first day of treatment I look to little puffy but okay and as the days progress it got more swollen on my cheekbones and my eyes appeared more sunken in with a blue undertone. This just kept getting worse. I asked her to dissolve it and she told me it would be unsafe to dissolve it and have to wait. When I would smile I would have two puffy bags in the corner of my eyes. It made me look more tired and aged me 10 years. A coworker told me about Dr. Kuzel. The staff were super friendly, as well as the nurse. she was extremely professional. knowledgable and made me feel comfortable as I was nervous . I did not have to wait long the doctor, he was very sweet and listen to what happened. He quickly prepared the product and explain the procedure. I noticed results right away and he informed me by the end of the weekend my face with appear back to normal. By the end of the weekend I finally felt like me again, I am beyond happy and thankful for Dr. Kuzel and his team for bringing back my confidence !
It is entirely normal to experience anywhere from a few days to about a week of swelling and numbness in the treatment area following a cycle of CoolSculpting. This swelling is related to inflammation in the area, which ultimately will contribute to the reduction in the number of fat cells in the region. Bruising and tenderness are also possible, and again should be fully resolved within about a week. Rarely are any of the after-effects of a CoolSculpting treatment limiting to a patient's daily activities, and as such is considered be a 'minimal to no downtime" procedure.
