I wanted to like my body again. I had kids young and can't remember having a flat stomach. With each kid, my middle just got bigger. I had an apple shaped middle. I also had extensive liposuction done from the hips to my middle back. I have gone from size 16/18 to a 12 and it's only been 3 weeks since the surgery and I'm still very swollen. I love that part! The reason I say I'm not sure YET if it's been worth it, is because I think I'm one of those people who is extra sensitive to pain. I've only had one other surgery in my life and it was done laparoscopically. I didn't have any pain after the first few days. It's been 3 weeks and 4 days now since my surgery. I'm still having pain and swelling. I feel worn down by it. Please let there be an end to the pain and swelling?!? I will post pics when I have before & after pics to post.

Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since surgery. I'm still in a lot of pain and struggling with going to work every day. My stomach is very hard and painful to touch. The rest of me (lipo from hips to middle back) seems to be healing and I can finally lie down on my side if I'm careful. Since the drains have now been out a week, I've been taking a lot of baths to ease my discomfort. It works for a little while.

I've always done a good job of hiding my body with clothes that accentuate the positive. I'm embarrassed when I look at these pictures. I can't wait to post the after pics, but that will be a while.

A week from today I will have much smaller breasts.
I' m excited but also getting nervous...i don't know what to expect . I been doing a little bit of research.

Something about me. I'm 41 y/o, I'm 5'5, weigh 194 lbs and have a 38 DDD or F bra size...its been difficult to shop for clothes specially for sports bra but what made me decide to have this procedure was the pain in my shoulders, neck and back of the head.

So my house is like my daughter says 'sparkly clean' !!!
Not much laundry left to do either !!
Tomorrow i have a haircut appt and will do my pedi, after that ...relaxation !!!

I only have 1 word.....Excitement!!!

So im right awake at 4 am but i will take advantage that i wont go back to sleep and do the 'sun salutation' then will take another long shower and enjoy it!!!

I will post as soon as i can and because im staying in the hospital overnight it wont be until saturday.
