This was an incredible experience. Dr O'neill and his team need the options for 10 stars. I had two procedures and am so pleased with the results. I am still a little bloated from time to time but that is totally normal as I think I am about 8 weeks post op and lipo takes a little longer to heal. I was super anxious due to a previous procedure with another surgeon and was shocked at how quickly I recovered and pain free!! I was walking and moving the same day of surgery. Dr O'neill and his team offer an unparalleled experience where I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. I went with a small implant to fit my frame and wish I would have done this ten years ago I feel so much better. The facility, the around the clock care and professionalism as well as the results are huge reasons I will recommend them to everyone I know.
I didn't plan to share pictures but now that I'm almost 3 weeks post op and seeing what an amazing job Dr. O'Neill and his staff have done, they deserve credit! I was nervous about going through all this but they have exceeded my expectations and the entire staff has been great from the beginning. Dr. O'Neill takes the time to explain everything in detail, including any possible concerns and makes you feel very comfortable, very knowledgeable...patient and not pushy in any way. Great follow up after surgery even with it being the holidays and very quick to respond. And the results so far!!...its still early but Im already loving what I see and can tell he is a perfectionist. After having 2 babies, I had a hernia, diastasis recti, a lot of wrinkled stretched skin and stretch marks (including before picture of stomach) and he corrected all of it, no sign of a mommy tummy anymore!! Plus bonus I had Lipo on inner thighs and sides of stomach and had the fat transferred to my boobs ... After breast feeding my boobs were deflated on the top, unable to fill out bra/bathing suit well, I've always been an A cup and didn't want to be huge or have implants in my body with all the risks. The breast fat transfer has been just enough to make them fuller / slightly larger ...if you want a full cup size bigger you need implants or multiple fat transfers though. Very impressed with the way the my tummy tuck scar is healing and thin, straight and perfectly placed very low to be hidden, also think my belly button will look very natural once it heals and those were my 2 biggest concerns going in. Excited for the swelling to go down on my lower stomach around scar line and have final results!! Its been 2-3 weeks of being very uncomfortable and it's a lot to go through...the recovery sucks and feels like forever. The drains are the worst part and just got those out 2 days ago so im finally getting some relief but still hard to walk and have pain/discomfort as the numbness starting to fade, so ready to feel normal again!! Updated on 31 Jan 2020: Feeling sooo much better since last post. First 3 weeks were rough and uncomfortable, between 3-4 weeks started to see improvement in soreness/tightness and by 5 weeks I was feeling worlds better. Took these pics at 5.5 weeks after going on my first run which felt great to be able to run compared to hurting to walk just 1-2 weeks before. The only issue im waiting on now is for the swelling to go down more. Updated on 20 Feb 2020: Posting an updated scar picture as ive now used a full tube of strataderm silicone gel...started using it around 3-4 weeks post not every day to start as i still had compression on so was harder to access. Finally stopped wearing compression garment about 1-2 weeks ago. First time i tried to sleep without wearing it at 6.5 weeks i woke up so swollen and sore so waited another week to try again and feels much better now, glad to not have to be limited on what to wear because of the compression garment. My belly button scar and my scars from the drains that aren't hidden are mkre pronounced than id like which i know takes time to fade but im going to look into laser scar treatment to get options on speeding that up. Updated on 14 Sep 2020: Still very happy with results and scars are looking lighter! I'm finally to the point that I'll wear a bikini ...never thought that day would come!! but still a little conscious of my belly button scar so I use a little concealing cream to reduce the redness so that it's not as noticeable.
I could not be happier with my experience and more importantly with my results! I think my results are better that I hoped for and better than any pictures I had seen that involved a lift with the augmentation. Dr. Oneill was my third doctor I consulted and so glad I did. He's the best!
BEST EXPERIENCE!! Dr. O'Neill and his staff are AMAZING! From beginning to end they were absolutely professional, quick with responses and so friendly! They really make you feel comfortable. I will absolutely go back for any future needs! So happy with everything!
I had a tummy tuck, breast lift and breast augmentation with Dr. O'Neill over mid Sept. I am beyond please I chose him and his team to perform this on me. I had gastric sleeve back in March 2016, and lost over 100lbs. Althought I did not have much of loose skin, after having 3 sections and the weight loss, I made the decision to reward myself with a "mommy makeover". I researched doctors in Georgia, Mexico and South Carolina as we are Military, we had the opportunity to research in this various location due to PCS moves. I knew Dr. O'Neill was the right doctor for me as soon as I had consultation with him. He took time explaining the procedures, showing me various implants, choices, made me feel super comfortable under his care, he literally gained my trust and his team is hospitable caring and are always ready to help and take care of whatever it is I might (from a question to prescription refill post surgery). So blessed I was able to have Dr. O'Neill as my plastic surgeon and also that I was able to get this done before we PCS again. Thank you Dr. O'Neill and Sarah Baldoni for making this such a smooth experience!!
I couldn't have had a more pleasurable experience! Dr. O'Neill and his staff were extremely kind, knowledgeable and thorough. I felt the entire staff was genuinely invested in my procedure and results. I recommend Dr. O'Neill to all my friends and family!
I am a third time breast cancer survivor. I was fortunate this third time not to have to go thru chemo or radiation. We tried tissue expanders. They both got infected and had to be removed. It took some months for the wound where the expander was removed to heal. I was referred to a doctor that does fat grating. During this procedure they moved my right breast over some and put some fat in the radiated breast. It is soft which is so nice. The left side I had a latissimus dorsi (back flap), so he just needed to fill the breast. He used areas of my outer thighs and stomach. I had more pain the second day and that was more when I coughed or laughed. I am so pleased with I have seen and where we are going. I go tomorrow for my post op appt. It is very worth it to do this procedure. I never had to use the Brava system either.
My husband and I have 4 beautiful babies. All were born via C-section and were breastfed at least a few months. So needless to say, it has taken a toll on my body and the way I feel about myself. After going thru 4 pregnancies, I am so ready to feel good about my body again. I am 5'3 weigh 155 and am a size 8. I have about 10 more pounds that I would love to lose before having this done, but I am also impatient and am ready to do it now! The last 10 lbs always seems the hardest to lose! I am self employed and keep pretty busy with my kids, so I try to make it to the gym 2-3 times a week on a good week. I am having a TT and BA with lift this Saturday and am very excited. I haven't told any family or friends about the procedure. I really dont want to have to explain myself to anyone or hear comments about how much I am spending. It was a hard enough decision for me to spend this amount of money on myself, that any negative comments would just make me feel worse. This site is a great way to get input from others that have already had it done and to share my excitement with someone other than my fabulous husband:) So, I am having a hard time deciding what size boobs to go with. I am a small C now, and really just want a natural lifted look. I am considering silicone 275cc high profile. I am going into my PS office tomorrow to try out more sizes....hope I find the right fit! Updated on 10 Nov 2011: Ok, I went to my pre-op yesterday. After talking with my PS, we have decided to go with silicone Mentor 325cc. He said because I have enough of my own breast tissue 325cc will give me a nice natural look and should make me a full C or small D. I feel good about the decision, but am still nervous...from everything I have read saying to "go bigger" , I just really dont want any regrets. We went over all the last minute questions my husband and I had, the meds i will be taking, I was sized for my compression garments, and before pictures were taken. Today I have been cleaning like a mad women! Finishing the last little bit of laundry, organizing everything, working on last minute work details and playing with my kiddos as much as I can. I am so freakin excited!! Come on Saturday!! Updated on 11 Nov 2011: Tomorrow morning it is finally going to happen :) I am excited and nervous. Worried mostly about being confined to my bed for a few days and not be able to be up and helping my husband with our kids. I am not one to sit around, and I never watch TV during the day. Who knows, maybe I will enjoy the break from my hectic schedule, and finally catch up on much needed sleep! Im off to bed, have to be up at 4:30 and in my ps office by 5:30..... :))))) Updated on 14 Nov 2011: My surgery for Saturday was cancelled due to my PS being up all night doing emergency surgery. So I had surgery the following day. Sunday 13th. I am one day post-op. I was in alot of pain coming out the surgery, and was very nauseous, they gave me fenagrin to help with the nausea. I dont remember the ride home, just arriving home around 10 at night and going straight to my bed. Woke up around 2 needing pain meds, and took them on an empty stomach and then started eating crackers. Learned my lesson to eat BEFORE taking the meds. As I vomited it all up. This morning I felt better, not alot of pain just soreness, mostly under my boobs. My appetite is back! MY husband made me pancakes, then I got up to walk around and go pee. I feel a bit loopy from the pain meds. But all in all, not to bad, just sore. I already love what I see even with the compression garments on! Well, back to nap time for me.
I want to begin by saying that Dr. O’Neill is a kind, professional, and highly skilled plastic surgeon. He is warm and attentive, and I felt confident in his care during the process. However, I do feel it’s important to share my full experience for others who may be considering similar procedures. After my initial tummy tuck, the results unfortunately led to multiple follow-up surgeries to correct the outcome. Throughout the healing process, I was strongly encouraged by the practice to undergo laser treatments and steroid injections to help with scarring—treatments which were not included in the original procedure’s cost. In hindsight, I truly believe that these treatments made my scar significantly worse. The lasers and steroid shots resulted in a scar layered on top of the original, leaving it more prominent and harder to manage. When I expressed concern, I felt dismissed and was told that my results were simply due to “genetics,” which left me feeling confused and gaslit. Out of regret and frustration, I recently chose to have my scar revised with a different surgeon, and the outcome is vastly better—honestly, night and day. I only wish I had gone that route from the beginning. I share this not to discredit Dr. O’Neill’s skill or the professionalism of the office, but because I would feel irresponsible staying silent. If you’re considering additional treatments like lasers or steroids for scarring, please do thorough research, get second opinions, and make sure it’s the right path for you. My experience taught me that trusting your gut and advocating for yourself is essential in this journey.
Very nice doctor. Very professional however, the result is very disappointing to say the least. I am extremely uncomfortable. The implants have fallen into the breast and are like 2 sacks of cement hanging on my abdomen!. This was a redo of an implant that leaked. Prior to this surgery and before the leak, my 10 year old implants were properly placed and I never had issues with them. Having said that, I know where proper placement should be and this is NOT it! They are pulling my skin to unnatural places. The nipples are too high on the breast because the implant is below them. I can not even be comfortable in my own home without constantly wearing a bra. When I went to tell Dr. about my issues, he sort of played it off as it being the implants were too large. When I pointed out that they are now below the pec muscle he sort of played dumb about it! I was kind of surprised! At that consult I offered to pay for fixing his mistake because I just wanted them out!! They were supposed to call me with an estimate, they did not, I called to ask for an estimate again, they still have not called back and it has been over a month! Now I am forced just let people know that they should look elsewhere for this particular surgery. I wish I had gone back to my surgeon in California but with the Covid it was just too difficult and would have made the trip too long but in the long run would have been worth it! Now I am screwed!
