Oh my God, what can I say? I've been wanting this procedure since I was a little girl I was always self-conscious about having extra skin down there. It would tug in my underwear sometimes get caught in my pants. It would also make me feel icky, uncomfortable, and just disgusting. My real motivation for wanting to get this procedure done was that I wanted to start getting laser treatments for Brazilian and I would be mortified if I had to spread my legs open. Another time my bf accidentally yanked it and I was in pain and that's when I realize I had to do the surgery. I only paid I believe $3,200 which is very cheap especially for being located in San Diego. Dr. Parvin Mani was extremely respectful, caring, and knowledgeable. I know above it says she's retired, but I'm not sure if she is I would call and ask. I wholeheartedly recommend her with my heart and soul. She's amazing and she fixed my problem and made it look so much better, the amount of this confidence this procedure is overwhelming. It was a quick process and the recovery was not bad at all. I think I only really had two days of downtime and I went back to normal life after. When you go, she's extremely realistic and tells you how it is, she also shows you a whole book of before and afters, (which they all came out so beautiful.) I used to have one small labia stick out and a longer one for the other side. Now I'm completely labia-less and it looks so clean!!Good luck on your journey and look no further Dr. Parvin Mani is incredible!
I went to dr. Mani for a labiaplasty revision. I was left with bad bumps from a previous surgery by a plastic surgeon. Parvin Mani is amazing, she wanted to see me one more time before my revision to make sure we were on the same page. She explained and was honest about what could and could not be done and all the risks. She thought about my wellness and results instead of thinking about making money. The day after the surgery she even called me herself to check on me and see if I was doing well. Dr Mani and her assistants always replied to me in a timely manner to all my questions before the surgery. The surgery was a breeze I had a little discomfort the same evening but was able to move with no problems but I rested for few days like she had recommended. I had no problems, driving, walking or anything like that. Just a little itchy which is caused by the skin when it's healing ? Ladies please do your research and take your time choosing your doctor for this surgery. It is a very complicated, delicate surgery on a very complex area! It's not an easy procedure like many surgeons like to tell you... I'm stuck with the results, the bumps are gone and my skin is smooth. I wish I had found her before my primary surgery! I really recommend her for these and other procedures if I'll need more in the future. She has a tons of real before and after photos to show you in her clinic
Wonderful labiaplasty. I am a local nurse who was searching for the right doctor. I chose her because she is a board certified obgyn and I felt comfortable with her. She does not have pictures online - but has a large before/after photo book in her office. Everything looks great down there and the recovery was smooth. Definitely recommend.
I've been so uncomfortable & embarrassed about the esthetics of my vagina for years, as long as I can remember for the past 10 years. I found out about labiaplasty a few years ago and have been researching for a while & I finally found the right doctor that fit my needs and price range in my location. My surgeon also happens to be an OBGYN which is even better. Dr. Parvin Mani of SD, CA is so talented & professional. She is so good at what she does & she is very caring, assuring, attentive and cautious. Her staff is also very polite and professional as well. Her facility is very safe & clean and she is on top of sanitation and hygiene! She is very clean in her office & with her patients! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND Dr. Parvin Mani if you are considering this procedure. I will upload progress photos weekly of my healing process. Updated on 5 Feb 2021: So post op details: Day one: you are numbed with a very strong topical cream in your entire vaginal area. Once completely numb, your doctor will come in and cleanse you thoroughly with medical disinfectant cleanser to prevent infections before, during and after the procedure. Then they will use a shot to numb the area even further. You don’t feel the shot because the numbing cream is really strong. After the area is completely numb, your doctor will begin this procedure by using either a laser or surgical scissors to remove excess labia and make them shorter & more even. Then they use self dissolving stitches and close the incisions. The procedure itself takes about an hour and 45 min - 2hours and most of that time is waiting for the numbing to set in. As soon as your procedure is done, you wanna start taking your pain medications because if you don’t and the numbing wears off before you have the numbing medication in your system, you are going to be in a world of pain - trust and believe me. The first day was the most painful. It literally felt like I got circumcised Day 2-4 were bearable almost no pain at all on day 4, just EXTREME itching. I went to Dr. Parvin Mani, OBGYN / MD in San Diego, CA. I paid $1950 for everything and she did a beautiful job. She’s very sweet and her staff is very professional and just as amazing as her. One of her staff members was in the room with me the entire time as well as another OB, comforting me though out the entire process, holding my hand and making me feel extremely comfortable. I loved her and her staff for how welcoming and comforting they were. I definitely recommend her. She also does other cosmetic procedures as well and she’s very affordable. You can shower after 48 hours. Healing takes 6 weeks (no sex of any kind) or any extremely strenuous activity. Benedryl works well for the itching and I don’t use tissue when I use the bathroom, I use irrigation each time, clean with the sx disinfect soap and warm water, blot dry with a soft towel and use a large q tip to apply a triple antibiotic healing ointment to my sutures / incisions. I also wear gloves each time as well. I got a numbing / itch relief spray and the reusable irrigation bottle from Amazon before my procedure so I was prepared and if I do wipe I use witch hazel pads. I cover with a new gauze each time I use the bathroom and clean/ reapply ointment. I put the ointment on the gauze as well as my vagina. I wear loose fitting shorts like around the house shorts you can get them from Walmart or fashion nova or something, I’m not going to wear underwear for at least two weeks until the majority of the swelling goes down. If I left anything out feel free to ask me. I hope this was helpful for any girls who plan on getting this done. Updated on 6 Feb 2021: Before Updated on 6 Feb 2021: Updated on 6 Feb 2021: Updated on 6 Feb 2021: I clean it every time I use the bathroom with warm water and soap in the irrigation bottle. I pat dry with a clean towel or gauze. When it’s itching in between cleaning, I use the witch hazel wipes. I apply the ointment everytime I clean with a qtip. I wear gloves any time I touch it. I put on a clean panty liner each time I use the bathroom & spray my panty liner with the itch spray before pulling up my underwear. Updated on 6 Feb 2021: Updated on 6 Feb 2021: MAN ... I am itching like CRAZY down there! I had to take a Benadryl to relieve the itch Bc it’s INTENSE ! Oh my gosh ..... Updated on 6 Feb 2021: Random sharp pain on one side of my labia ... taking a Tylenol to ease the pain. It came out of nowhere and it really hurts. :( Updated on 7 Feb 2021: Stitches aren’t dissolved yet ... flesh looks .. raw & gross like wet uncooked chicken thighs ... Girls, let me just be honest & tell you that The healing process is very ugly as far as aesthetics... no matter how good your surgeon is. So if you decide to get this procedure, you have to mentally prepare yourself for the days like this. Especially if you are single & have no encouragement/ support system at home - it can be tough mentally & emotionally. 1 week down, 5 more to go. :( Updated on 10 Feb 2021: I’m going crazy. Taking Benadryl, using vagisil wash & vagisil itch cream, monistat itch cream as well. They help bring the itching from a 10 to about a 3 but only for so long. Omg idc what tf to do - this itching is really driving me crazy. It kept me from sleeping these last two nights - I’m so tired ... I just want the itching to stop so I can focus on my school, work and get some good sleep :( Updated on 12 Feb 2021: Itching, itching, itching .... it just doesn’t stop no matter what. It’s worse at night time. Got a yeast infection from the antibiotics but my doctor addressed it right away the same day she gave me a prescription. Anytime I have issues or questions, she willingly makes herself available to me and she never gets annoyed or irritated. She is a really sweet and present person. She even called me a few time after my procedure before my first post op appointment to check on me & my pain levels and healing process. These wipes and this spray and cream helps with the itch on contact. Yeast infection went away within two days and the creams help. Lots of the outer itching is from my pubic hair beginning to grow back. I can’t get a wax for another 4 weeks though so ... I’ll post updates about that in the meantime. Updated on 12 Feb 2021: The stitches are still in tact. Hair is growing back (I had a Brazilian wax the day before my procedure). Still very swollen on one side of labia. Not that much pain unless it’s touched or when I wipe myself after using the bathroom. Updated on 17 Feb 2021: This itching just gets worse. I no longer have a yeast infection, I keep the site clean and don’t touch it without sterile gloves. The itching drives me nuts. The itching creams work but I have to constantly reapply them. Healing seems to be going really slow tbh. My stitches literally JUST started to BARELY come out today. And it still looks uneven. Idk . Guess we shall see what happens. I hope it heals and looks better. By week 6. Updated on 18 Feb 2021: Can’t wait until it’s done healing I’m really really anxious about the final results :( Updated on 24 Feb 2021: It looks uneven. I also found out that the internal stitches are what's causing the extreme itching. The dermaplast spray & monistat spray really helps bc it numbs it. I'm worried that it won't heal evenly :( The left side is way bigger / fatter than the right. fingers crossed that it will though . I'm a little sad. :( Also, please excuse the hair. I can't get waxed until my stitches are gone and I do not shave. Updated on 1 Mar 2021: I’m starting to worry :( it’s almost week 6 and it’s still very uneven, the internal stitches are still itchy as hell, and the right side is noticeably bigger than the left - it’s also still very sore on that side . Sigh. Praying it heals evenly and not ugly. :( Updated on 7 Mar 2021: Itch ... uncontrollable & unbearable itch. Make sure you find out what the internal dissolvable stitches are made of before getting this procedure to ensure you aren’t allergic to them like I am. This has been the most miserable part of it all. I have to take Benadryl everyday multiple times a day. It’s horrific this itching, the pain was more bearable than this. I also am not pleased with the aesthetics of it still. It’s not bc of my surgeon’s work, I just do not like the appearance of my vagina. I thought this would give me confidence but some things just aren’t appealing no matter what you do. This will be last update. Good luck to any dolls who plan to get this procedure in the future. Updated on 11 Mar 2021: In 4 days will be exactly 6 weeks since the procedure. Still itches but I was told today by my doctor that soaking in the bath instead of showers will help with the itching. These are the before & after pics she took. I feel like the procedure was worth it in the end overall.
Hi all. I am scheduled for a Labiaplasty on the 27th! I am so excited. I have been wanting this for years now. Once I hit puberty in my teens, it just grew and grew and I became very uncomfortable. My minora hangs out of my majora. It rubs against my clothes and is bothersome. When I have sex, it inverts and tugs! I hope everything goes well. I am going to update as I go Alonzo The consultation went well. She has a whole album of ones she's done before. She was nice and thorough. Updated on 23 Jul 2021: This is my before. We’ll see how it goes !! Updated on 27 Jul 2021: I love it so far. She was gentle and nice! Explained everything she was doing. I hope for a speedy recovery! :) Updated on 4 Aug 2021: I CANNOT believe I am only one week post-op and I look like this. I have healed very well. The stitches are already dissolving, I had very minimal pain the first few days. I still have some lips, they’re just much smaller. I will say, it feels so weird not having the large lips! But, it is such a relief that I don’t have the constant discomfort anymore. I am super happy so far. My right side looks smaller than my left, but it may just be uneven swelling. Updated on 13 Aug 2021: This is what I looked like exactly two weeks PO!! Healing is a little uneven, but that’s expected. I am no longer inconvenienced by my labia minora. I went in today for a follow-up and it went well. She informed me I am still a bit swollen and these won’t be my final results. I can’t wait for the healing to be done! Updated on 17 Aug 2021: Hey guys! I am now three weeks post-op!! There is not much of a difference between week 2 and 3, but I feel great. The only thing is that I have been getting VERY itchy. My surgeon did tell me I would start getting itchy soon as the sutures started to dissolve. I figured they were gone because I can’t see them, but I guess I have some inside. She also said once they’re gone, the swelling will subside even more so. I am super happy so far. There is some unevenness, but they were fairly uneven to begin with. We shall see how it looks in the end. Updated on 31 Aug 2021: There is some unevenness, but I think the swelling is going down randomly. I am super happy with my results so far. It’s crazy to think how different life is with shorter labia lol. Also, notice how the scar line almost goes unnoticed, and don’t have any scalloping! Updated on 7 Sep 2021: speechless. (:
