Hello!Typically orthodontic treatment should be completed before any dental implants are placed. It is very important to have your bite corrected and teeth aligned before the implant is placed because once the implant is in it cannot be moved. I recommend that you see an orthodontist for a consultation to discuss your options, he/she can help coordinate your treatment with your dentist.Best of luck!Dr. Paola Leone
Skeletal open bite are very hard to correct without jaw surgery. Your case seems pretty severe and Invisalign alone will not be able to correct it. The Invisalign can certianly realign your teeth and improve the crowding while protecting your posterior teeth from the occlusal trauma. Good luck!
Hi, looking from the pictures you are most likely not an Invisalign Express. The Invisalign express has only a limited number of aligners available(10) to align your teeth. You may need more than just 10 to correct the crowding in the lower teeth. You should go visit an orthodontist-Invisalign provider in you area and get a consultation. He/she will be able to advise you! Good luck!
The first tray, like all the other trays, should be worn for 14 days with 22 hours daily wear. If you were not able to wear it with that consistency you may go up to 3 weeks with the same aligner.
It depends on how much your teeth have moved. The retainer can only move the teeth if there has been a very minor movement, for more drammatic changes other options may be availble, such as Invisalign 5. You wil have up to 5 aligners where each one can move the teeth up to 0.25mm per tooth per aligner. You may or may not be a candidate for that. See an orthodontist in your area and let them suggest what is the best option for you.
