I had Liposuction with professor Dr Onde Tan on 21/09/2021. My Pre-Operation experience was enhanced by the professional care and attention provided to me by both Yasmin and Marcella. Both of them helped me immensely with their pre and post-surgery attention. Marcella communicated with me effectively before I even travelled to Istanbul by providing me the necessary information. She made me feel like we already knew each other before which in turn eased my anxiety and increased my confidence. She booked a very nice hotel and transportation from Istanbul airport to hotel and to the clinic. Service was impeccable. When in Istanbul she introduced me to Yasmine. Yasmine's role was to accompany me to the pre-operation assessment, tests/examinations and to be with me until I entered the operation theatre and after the surgery. I felt as if I was being looked after by my own family and inspired me with great trust and confidence in the entire process. I was very anxious about having the procedure and their care and attention really helped put my mind at rest. I received texts and calls from both Yasmine and Marcella post-surgery, checking up on me and to see if there was anything at all that I needed. They made my experience such a positive one and made me feel really special and in good hands. Thank you very much to both of them as without their care and attention I would have been extremely anxious. In each of my previous surgeries I developed anxiety prior to the surgery but I did not with this one. That was the work of Yasmine and Marcella who I felt were my sisters. Professor Dr Onder Tan, my surgeon, a super surgeon. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for making me at ease from the first day I met him. He is VERY humble, patient, honest, skilful and easy to talk to. I was impressed with the pre-operation assessment. i.e blood test, X-ray, ECG, Covid-test. I must admit that I had three plastic surgeries in the past with other clinics in Europe. None of these clinics gave me these kind of pre-operation assessments and tests. These tests reassured me that I was in good hands and was fit for the surgery. After the surgery I was looked after by very good nurses at the Memorial Hospital and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team including the Anaesthetists and the nurses for their exceptional care provided. The result of my liposuction is already showing even though I know the final result will be visible in 3 months. I will certainly recommend Icon clinic to anyone who wants to have plastic surgery in Istanbul. Once again thank you very much for making this experience exceptional. Kady Updated on 21 Oct 2021: Still recovering but very impressed with the result. I think the procedure has also improved the cellulitis on my thighs. I am still in pain especially on the back but I believe it might be nerves trying to get back together. So far I am loving the result.
