I ABSOLUTELY love Dr. Levine, it's been 2 years since my breast reduction and my breast are so amazing! I highly recommend Dr.Levine, very professional, excellent beside manners and answered all my questions patiently and courteously.
I have always wanted larger breasts to balance my always larger hips on my body. I achieved just that with my first breast augmentation with Dr. Levine. I am 5'4, 130 Ibs. I had lost almost 40 lbs over the course of a year before surgery, so I wanted to regain what breast volume I lost. He used a 375cc saline implant overfilled to 435cc. Placed behind the muscle. My hips have always been quite larger than my top and now I'm happy to say, I am much more proportioned. :-) Dr. Levine is highly intelligent and personable. I recommend him for anyone wanting to stay modest and natural looking, as he does not like to use high or ultra high profile implants (he calls them unnatural, "round apples"). Also, he likes saline and will not try to sell you up to silicone. (Although with my 2nd BA, I opted silicone.) I didn't try on sizers or anything, I told him the "look" I was after and he told me what size he thought would be best, but would know for sure during surgery. That would be the only con, is not picking out your exact implant. He is older, from a time when patients didnt have much say in style of implants; but he is knowledgeable and you can trust he will choose what's best for the look you want.
I have wanted bigger breast for as long as I can remember. Finally took the plunge! I must say the pain was a lot more than I anticipated, it was horrible really. But i started feeling better about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. II'm 3 weeks post op today and feeling great for the most part.. still a little pain. But just a little. Very manageable and gets better and better every day. Definitely worth it. Updated on 5 Apr 2016: I'm 3 weeks post op. Feeling good. (: will update in about a month. Updated on 6 Apr 2016: Forgot to upload... i hate seeing my before pics, but I'm so happy with my results. Updated on 11 May 2016: Updated on 11 May 2016: So I'm about 2 months post op and went to Victoria's Secret to get sized and I'm a 34D !! I love them ! Although I do wish I went just a tad bigger. Oh well. I'm very pleased with my decision. Updated on 17 Jun 2016:
These wounds will generally heal, but it is important to keep in touch with your plastic surgeon who can aid you in the healing. The fact that the drainage is clear is good. Some manipuolation of the wound may be needed to accelerate the healing, but this has to be determined by an in person visit with your physician.
The best way to find out is to have your surgeon examine you and see if he thinks any dmage was done. He might have to follow you for weveral weeks to make that determination.
The falling mons is not uncommon, and is often helped by a tummy tuck. There is no way I can give you more advise without an examination, because you may have other factors present which need to be evaluated. For a more thorough answer to your question, seek an in person evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon
It looks to me like you would be helped by a tummy tuck, although it would have to be extended to include that portion of your abdomen which hangs over the hips. The stretch marks above you belly button will still remain. Those below, should be removed by the tummy tuck. I believe that it is a good idea to complete your weight loss before undergoing surgery. For a more thorough answer to your question, seek an in person evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon.
Generally the swelling goes down over a period of weeks. Swelling is most frequently a normal reaction after implant removal. How much swelling will depend on what surgery was performed along with the implant removal (capsulotomy or capsulectomy), how much of the capsule was removed and whether or not there was any implant material or scarring left behind. Sometimes swelling can indicate either a collection of blood (hematoma) or fluid (seroma), The best plan is to see your local plastic surgeon and get an in person evaluation. Thanks for the inquiry, Norm Levine
