We treat almost all of our miraDry patients at the maximum&nbsp;treatment setting of 5 (for both their initial treatments as well as their secondary ones). During the consultation appointment, patients&nbsp;are informed that they may require more than one treatment and that they may book their second treatment 3 months after their initial procedure. However, most&nbsp;patients are well satisfied with only&nbsp;one miraDry treatment and do not require&nbsp;additional ones. Dear Doctor What is the default setting for first treatment? I got the first treatment and I still have little wet or moist. It still causes odor. I am wondering I should go for second treatment with level 5? Will it help. Thanks.

What is the default level settings for first treatment?

Smoother liposuction results can be achieved by using microcannulas which allow a more gradual and controlled removal of fat. This improves the ability of the surgeon to achieve smoother results. Larger cannulas are associated with an increased risk of liposuction producing skin depressions and irregularities. Larger cannulas may remove fat so quickly that there is a risk of removing too much fat. It is also more difficult to precisely control the direction of a large cannula. With any attempt to make a small incremental change in the direction of a large cannula there is tendency to re-enter a pre-existing tunnel within the fat. This lack of precise control contributes to the risk of skin irregularities associated with liposuction when using large cannulas.

I've read online that the results of a micro cannula are not as dramatic. Is that likely to be true for a 29 year old female looking for liposuction on the chin / jaw area?

Is Liposuction Using a Micro Cannula As Effective As Options Such As Vaser or Smart Lipo? Can It Remove As Much Fat? 

Facial and Neck Liposuction Procedures

	Tumescent liposuction is the safest and usually the most effective technique for removing fat from the chin, cheeks and jowls. Liposuction involves fewer complications, fewer scars, avoids the dangers of general anesthesia, has a more rapid recovery, lower costs, and typically gives a more natural appearance compared to a facelift.

	Women who have local deposits of subcutaneous fat in the face and neck and who have excessively wrinkled skin will often get better results from liposuction combined with either a laser resurfacing or a chemical peel, than they would from a facelift. See figures 2 and 3. Younger women who have good skin elasticity, liposuction alone can also produce dramatic improvement and is a much simpler and safer procedure than a facelift.

The most successful and safest way to remove fat from the face and neck is through tumescent liposuction. This can provide more natural results than a facelift. Hi, I'm 19 and have been born with quite a bit of excess fat under my chin. I'm not at all chubby (I am a size 1) otherwise, but i find that the fat obscures my neckline and gives me a weak profile. I've read up about jowl lipo but many say it's quite risky. Is there any other way a doctor could help me fix my problem? Thanks I've attached a photo of a woman that has a similar degree of fat - obviously, she is older than me.
